11. Letters?

Once Princey was fully awake I told them what happened. Well kinda. I didn't tell them what happened with the snake dude, Ray, and the girl with wings.

"So.. Thomas is visiting his mom now?" I nodded at Logan.

"So what about you?" I raised an eyebrow. "Have the pain stopped?" I nodded.

"It stopped hours ago, I was just waitin' for y'all to wake up." I could see Patton's face turn into a face of realization. I wondered why he made that face at me.

"How did you hug Thomas?" Patton asked.

"Huh?" I was confused and made an 'oh' moment. "Oh, I can make myself touchable. I don't do it since it feels really weird."

"Are you touchable right now?" Princey asked smirking.

"Hmm... I think?" I tried to think if I made myself untouchable again. I didn't need to think this because Pat had tackled me in a hug. I was shocked.

I felt two other people hugging me from my sides. I blinked.

"You know you really worried us kiddo.." I smiled a bit and tried my best to hug all three of them at the same time.

"I guess that answered that," I chuckled a bit.

"I hope Rays gonna be okay.." I whispered after an hour of silence. The thought and the words ray said to me was replaying in my mind.

We were all in the living room. Logan was reading a book, Roman was going through his phone and Patton was starring out the window. I was sitting on the couch with my head in my hands.

"She'll be kiddo," Patton broke his starring to look over at me.

"How can you be so sure?" I asked looking up at him.

"I just do kiddo, she'll-" we heard a ding from someone's phone. Logan picked up his phone and looked at the screen. He mumbled something, I think it was the message. He tapped on the screen and it started to ring. He put the phone on speaker.

"Is everything alright Thomas?" Logan asked.

"Yeah, well as good as it can be." Thomas voice spoke. Roman, Patton, and me were dead silent.

"What is wrong?" Logan asked setting his book aside.

"Well my mom can't have any visitors right now and I don't know how bad it is since they won't tell me.." I could hear Thomas sniffed.

"Oh.. well you can go tomorrow Surely?"

"Yeah... I guess.. I'm guessing anxiety told you."

"Yeah, he indeed did. How are you holding up Thomas?" Logan asked worriedly.

"As okay as I can be when my mom is near death.. hey can I speak with anx for a bit?" Thomas asked. I could tell he was tearing up.

"Of course," Logan passes the phone to me, I became touchable, and I took the phone. I put the phone off of speaker and put it to my ear.

"Yeah thom?" I asked my gaze hitting the floor.

"They gave me something after I told them my name.. they than asked me if I knew you and I said yes in surprise.." Thomas started. I was a bit confused until he continued. "The nurse passed me two letters. Ones for me and the other is for you.. I read mine and.." Thomas suddenly sobbed but continued. "It said that she may not make it... she wrote this before she got into the accident.." I was shocked at this. Did Ray know that this accident would happen?

"Thomas.." I stopped my tears from going down my face. "Just.. just get some sleep tonight and visit her in the morning. Okay?"

"O-okay... I-I will anx..." Thomas was about to say bye but I interrupted him.

"Thomas, I know Rays gonna be okay." I said into the phone.

"Yeah..." Thomas sniffed, "bye anx.." Thomas hung up before I could reply. I gave the phone back to Logan and wondered if I said anything wrong..

"Is... everything alright?" Patton asked breaking though my thoughts.

"I don't even know anymore.." I put my head in my hands.

Thomas's POV...

I just hung up the phone and put it in my pocket holding the two letters my mom wrote. I just starred at them.

I sighed and wiped my eyes with my only free hand. I've been crying so much. I sniffed and made my way to my car. I slammed the door closed when I got in the driver side. I just thought about how much mom would be hurting. I must've been sitting there for close to an hour until I heard my phone ding.

I looked at my phone to see a text from Joan. They were worried about me.

Joan: hey thom.. you doing okay?

Thomas: no.. my moms near death Joan.

Joan: do you want to stay at my house so you can visit her until she gets better?

Thomas: yeah.. thanks Joan

Joan: no problem Thomas

I put my phone down and finally pulled out of the hospital driving to Joan's house.
