15. Just a dream?

"My help with what?" I asked the female before me.

"I need-"

POV Of anxiety...

Ray and I was talking about the letters when she sighed randomly.

"Why did you sigh?" I asked a bit confused.

"I just don't get how why someone would leave and English version of the letter and a-" she paused and looked at the letter we had no clue what it said. "Whatever those are." She pointed at the weird letters.

"Well atleast it's a hint to my past. I knew I had a mom and dad but I had no clue about my sister.." I said.

"Well do you remember anything about your parents?" She asked. I shook my head. I knew I had mom and dad but forgot the rest. I heard Patton calling for dinner. I sighed and became touchable. I helped ray to the living room so she could eat with everyone. It was one of these days where they all ate in the living room watching Steven Universe.

"Kiddo you staying out?" Patton asked as I set ray down.

"Uhh..." I glanced at my room and knew that it would be stressful to do all this.. I'll do it later.. "sure.."

~time skip~

I woke up to myself getting wet. I opened my eyes to see a girl standing over me. She had dark purple eyes and lavender hair.

"Midnight!" I screamed and got up to chase her. She had dropped the bucket that held the water that was dumped on me.

"You'll never catch me alive!" Midnight screamed out.

"KIDS!" I heard my mom scream from downstairs. I groaned and we both went downstairs.

"Midnight, Virgil, what did I say about running around upstairs while your sister is recovering?" Mom asked sternly.

"Not to..." we said ashamed and looked away from her gaze. Mom was about to scold us more but before she could we all heard a scream from upstairs. My fight or flight kicked in and I decided to fight. I ran up the stairs and into my older sisters room.

"Cece?!" I screamed as I quickly looked around the room.. I then noticed the opened window letting in the cold winter air. "Ce...ce..?" I let out a chocked sob and broke down. Mom was right next to me holding me as mid looked out the opened window.

Midnight mumbles under her breath but I couldn't hear her. I looked up to see her looked at me. She sighed and wiped her tears. "I'm... I'm going to my room." She said before fast walking all the way to her room.

I looked at mom. "She's just upset.. cece will be fine.." mom hugged me.

Why didn't she call the police? I thought as I laid in my queen sized bed that night.

I shot up awake to see the others fast asleep on the couch. I sighed and moved to not wake anyone up and head to my room. That was only a dream... right..?

POV Of ????

"Okay.. I can do that. Why though?" I asked and sipped on my Starbucks.

"Well... I need to speak with him." She turned to walk away but I stopped her.

"You do know he doesn't-" she stopped and turned. I saw the death glare she gave me but I didn't care.

"I! KNOW!" She growled and walked away. I sighed and continued to drink my Starbucks. Man.. she really regrets what she's done..

I sighed and saw deceit in the corner of the room. "Yeah?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Are you really gonna do it?" He asked truthfully. I sighed and nodded. "She deserves to say her last goodbye.. after all she's risking everything by doing this for him." I said and looked away from him zoning out.

Can I really do this..? I mean... Virgil will remember everything in his sleep but... is that the best thing?
