Sitting together and waiting for one of them to talk seemed to be a usual thing, as they had done it twice today. At least there was no tension between them, only wonder and confusion towards the boy who walked around the kitchen with his big fitting suit. He seemed to be pretty chill about the fact he had time traveled, coming back to his family seventeen years later, right after Reginald Hargreeves' death.
Dan rested on the table next to Allison, realizing that she had been too attached to Diego ever since they came to the house. Luther and the other woman, whose name was still a mystery, sat on the chairs. Klaus was sitting on the table, legs crossed, and Diego had only one leg up, the other resting on the floor.
The boy, or Five ( as his siblings called him ), laid a cutting board down on the table and walked towards the cabinets. He came back with a bag of bread. "What's the date? The exact date," the small woman next to her replied with the number, 24th. "Of what?" He asked sharply and he got an answer from the same person. It was March. "Good."
"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asks as the boy opens the bag and takes two loaves of bread, separating them, ignoring his brother. After sharing a glance with everyone, he gets to his feet, trying to intimidate the young boy but he gave two shits about it. "It's been seventeen years."
Five leaves the bread, scoffing, and faces his brother, who blocked the way to the cupboards. "It's been a lot longer than that."
Dan's jaw dropped when the boy disappeared from standing in front of Luther to searching through the cabinets again, all in the blink of an eye. He could teleport. She shut her mouth and smiled, this power was her favorite so far. Imagine the many places you could go to in seconds. It is something very useful, as long as you use it right.
"Where'd you go?"
Taking a bag of marshmallows, he reappeared in front of the table, heads turning back to look at his new location. "The future. And it's shit, by the way," he went for the fridge as Klaus chimed a comment that they all ignored, captivated by what the young boy, or man, had to say. "I should've listened to the old man," he took a jar of peanut butter and walked back to where he was preparing his meal. "You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice," he began to open the jar and looked up at them all, then to only Klaus and his outfit, "nice dress."
"Oh, well, Danke!"
He blocked the response, looking now directly at Dan, who was being more intimidated by him than Luther. Sighing he started to spread the butter on the loaf of bread, "since when do I have three sisters?" They all must've looked really confused for him to point at the extra female that sat with them.
"I'm not your sister," she cringed, it sounded less harsh in her head, "I'm only here for the funeral," it sounded more like a question than anything else. She mentally yelled at herself to shut up and stop making things worse than they already are.
