Once Upon a time there was a cold prince of a broken kingdom who wrote a poem for a princess:
Dear Princess,
"Our first hello's I hope you remember, It changed everything.
Our first conversation gently flowed like a river, it stopped time,
between our two worlds apart
"That river soon watered my drought,
Hope and a beautiful promises soon began to flourish like tulips.
We watered it everyday,
Everyday with attention and care
"Little did I know, you watered my dying soul,
You gave air to my sophocating world,
You gave me hope,
And alas for me! I am helpless!
Day and night, I long for my princess
"Before the sun comes up,
You awaken me while everybody's asleep.
At evening, I also waited for her "
She never failed the prince.
She came with stories to share,
The prince also openend himself
to her.
Like kids, they were both asking, ang looking for answers, chasing,
they enjoyed their curiousity together.
At night she leaves the prince in peace and contentment.
"Those days and nights has become our routine, I waited for her everyday."
At dawn, her prince awaits like longing for a bird that sings the melodies of his heart,
For him, the princess lights up his dark nights like the orion star
"Her beauty is majestic no one can outshine,
Her light is so bright, and it gives me the strenght that I need
At night, I looked for her to find hope and direction.
Until I became afraid,
I asked myself: "What if one day, it might all change? What if her star dissapears?"
Time came the routine has changed, the princess went into silence.
The prince soon fell into sadness and longing that he do not understand.
"Those times were so precious, so grand,
I treasured them all,
every words and whispers
I have remembered them all."
"And so my soul is looking for consolations.."
While the prince confined himself in reflection, he began to wonder:
"Why am I longing for her?
"Could this be love?"
"Could this be true love?"
Until he realized the desire of his heart and soul.
He wanted her treasure become the "queen of my empire" and the "light of my palace", for she is "the love of my heart."
But for us, time is uncertain,
Change has proved that it's constant.
The prince fell into silence,
Sadness soon ate his heart.
He was looking for the one he love,
While he also searched for himself.
The prince soo. found himself
He's outside the ruined walls of their kingdom.
Alone, afraid, confused, he felt isolated.
Days and night went by,
In silence he reflected
A boy that night has turned into a man.
He realised that the girl is turning into a woman,
He wants to be his man.
Until in his heart he resolved, "I will be there for her, and I will stay by her side."
He went out from his comfort to battle against the evils of himself
The princess touched his cold heart,
His weathered soul,
He became a man ready to fight, trust and believe again.
"Yes, things might change, and I will also change to prove my self worthy of her heart"
The prince then became determined, he rebuilt his kingdom.
In his departure, the king's blessed him:
"As for you, the world out there is
harsh, it will beat you down your knees and you must not give up"
The prince went on his way,
He wanted her princess back.
So he departed his journey racing against time and odds.
Then on, he vowed to himself to love her, protect her, and understand her never to separate again.
Decades passed, and no sign of the prince.
The tulips soon bloomed in the ruins of the prince's memorial.
He never returned.
He stayed in the heart of his princess forever, and there he was burried. 👑
