Part four

||Sam POV || 2 weeks later...

My eyes shot open and I move my body slightly which caused me to groan rather loudly "ugh." I grumbled, "Dad?" I called out and looked around the room. I saw Jughead and FP sitting in chairs, FP jumps in his chair, he is now fully awake and Jughead was typing on his laptop.

"Sammy?" I looked at FP.

"FP?" His eyes were welling up and he sucks in a breath.

"oh princess I was so worried about you!" He hugs me carefully and I hugged him back even tighter "I thought I lost you." He whispers and Jughead smiles at me.

"thank fuck you're awake!" Jughead yells and hugs me as well.

"I love you too!" I cried and they laugh "I heard you! I heard you both! I'm here now okay?" I smiled at they pulled away.

"how do you feel?" Jug asks.

"I'm tired." I admitted.

"you're always tired." Jughead teases and I laugh.

"true but I stay up with you at pops." Jughead glares playfully at me.

"I'll get the nurse." FP leaves the room and I stare up at Jughead.

"I missed you so much and you were right there next to me for two weeks." He laughs quietly at himself.

"I'm here now okay?" He hugs me again and I kissed his cheek "I'm not going anywhere."

Archie and the gang are in my room now and we're playing a board game. Winning feels so good especially if it's monopoly since that game is so fucking boring "finally! I thought this game would never end!" Jughead whines as we all were sitting on the floor, my hospital blankets etc were wrapped around me and were placed on the floor for all of us.

"can we go to pops? I'm so hungry." Jughead groans as his stomach rumbles.

"you're always hungry, Jughead." Everyone laughs including him.

"That's true, want me to bring you back something Sammy?" He asks as he stands up and stretches a

"no thanks." I smiled up at him.

"I'll bring clothes for you okay?" I nod my head and the gang leaves except for FP.

"FP? Can you brush my hair for me?" He laughs in his chair.

"of course, come sit here." I scooted over to him and sat in front of FP's legs, I felt his hands take my hair out of the high ponytail it was in and my curly, raven hair falls around my shoulders and tickles my lower back "who did you turn into? Rapunzel?" He teases and I started laughing.

"I haven't had a hair cut since I left." I felt the hair brush at the end of my hair softly "thank you for looking after me FP, thank you for being here." he stood brushing my hair and sighs.

"I'm always going to protect you, jellybean, Jughead and the gang okay?" I nodded as continued he brushing my hair.

I sang quietly as I sat with my knees to my chest with my chin resting on my arms, I was alone all over again, FP went home a while ago.

Keeping myself entertained while I was alone was something I'm used to doing, i heard a knock at the door, my eyes met the knocker and i sighed "yeah?" I asked the nurse.

"you can be discharged." I nodded.

"thanks." I signed the papers and she took the IV out of my hand and arm.

"need help?" She asks me.

"no thanks." She nods and leaves my room and shuts the door behind her, I scrambled to grab my clothes to get changed and get the fuck out of here.

I've been walking for a fair while now, I decided to go to Pops diner, I missed him.

"hiya Pop!" It was empty, no one was here except for him.

"hey kid! The usual?" I nodded.

"thanks Pop!" I sat at the booth and put the cash I owed on the counter, I'm going to leave Riverdale tonight.

I drank my milkshake and ate my burger in peace, no gunshots, no gang, no serpents and no Tallboy or Penny.

I talked to Pop for a while until the bell rang on the door "you better take that jacket off." Pop whispered so I did and folded it up to put into my lap.

"hey Pop!" I cringed , it was Archie.

"hey Arch! Want the usual?" Pop asks him.

"yeah, please Pop." He sits down next to me and looks at me "hey are you new here?" He asks me and I slowly look at Archie.

"Sam what the hell are you doing out of hospital?" He asks me.

"I was discharged." He looks at me.

"and you didn't call-"

"SAMMY!" Archie and I turned around and saw FP standing there in shock "what the hell!" He yells and I jump in fear "why didn't you call me! How did you get here? Archie did you bring her here and not tell us she's out of hospital?" FP was freaked out and he was sure enough furious.

"I walked here after I was discharged... I was hungry okay and my phone is dead and smashed up... Archie didn't even know who I was until 5 seconds ago." FP walks up to me and saw my jacket in my lap.

"put it on." He tilts his head to my jacket and I put it on.

"now what?" I ask him as I took the last bite of my burger.

"you're coming home. Now." I glanced at Archie.

"where is home exactly? My home was bugged." I growled at FP.

"you are coming home with me right now young lady." I stood up.

"no." I defended myself "I'm not going with you FP I'm leaving!" I walked past him and he grabbed my arm tightly in his grip and I winced and struggled in his arm.

"the hell you are! You're in danger Sammy! I'm keeping you safe." I stared at FP, his eyes were pleading for me to stay and to trust him "Tallboy and Penny are still out there... please Sammy, let me keep you safe, the serpents will keep you safe." I sighed if relief as he let go of my arm.

"okay, fine. come on Dad, let's go home." He nods.

"come on Archie, you're coming too." He stands up and we all left Pops to go home.
