Part 32 What the Heck

It's her third shot on their karaoke night that Frida pulled her into. "Hey, be slow on your shots missy", Jb whispered on her left as the taller girl hung her arms on Christine's shoulder

"Don't worry, Carl's here. He can take care of me after this so you can look out for Frida", said Christine. Jb side looked at her brother who she invited too. Carl, who's silently drinking a beer on the other side came with his bestfriend Evan. She said it was her treat for babysitting Charlie for almost a week

"Hey I'm not a child, I can manage my own", Frida said sitting at Jb's left

Jb snorted. Tin laughed, "You have a tendency to drink a drum when you're on a little state of heartache"

Frida's apparently had broken up with another guy they didn't know existed and forced them to come in karaoke to release her pain but only Jb knows how to handle tune in the three of them. She's good at it. Tin heard her sung then but she decided to sulk in the middle of them and vowed to not to belt her heart out that night. Apparently, she's not in the mood

"Just enjoy the night girls, let's sing. OMG, there goes my turn", Frida run to the stage when she heard the intro. Her friend is on that ripped fitted jean-hanging blouse combination again. She's so sexy and fashionable on that simple ensemble, something Christine just wish to wear

"There goes your heartbroken friend", Jb said shaking her head

Tin laughed, "I'm going to the comfort room for a while." She launched another shot to her mouth before standing up

Phone rung for a hundreth time that day and she answered it without looking at the ID. The world's spinning around like Frida's lyrics at her background

"Ms. Thomas", she singsonged her surname

"Hi, Tin", the familiar voice greeted. "Finally"

"Oh, Mr. Roberts do you need anything?", she said in sarcasm

"Where are you Tin? It's seems loud there?"

She giggled, "I'm on the karaoke". She singsong the last word.

"Is Charlie with you?"

"What do you think of me? Irresponsible parent? I'm not like someone out there who can disappoint their child over and over and over again", she said

"You sounds like you just had enough. Where are you? I'm going to take you home", Luke inquired and she heard a car engine started on his background

"No, I'm with Carl. He's always here for me you know", Tin replied and ended her phone before the guy insists

She felt like throwing up so she run to the girl room's lavatory. She really had enough, she thought as she run a water on her mouth and sprinkled some on her face.

Tin almost jumps when she saw Jb's reflection at the mirror, leaning on the wall at her back.

Hands on her jean's pocket and looking blankly in her pink tshirt with some Japanese character. Jb nodded to her direction, "What's your problem?"

"Nothing", Tin replied while getting some tissue to dry her hands and mouth

"Famous girl's line", Jb launched her motto again

"O come on, you're having those bad mood too. I can sense it."

"Don't change the subject", Jb insisted lifting her eyebrows

She crossed her arms in defiance, "If you're not saying anything then I'm not sharing anything too"

Jb exhaled and averted her eyes. Tin smiled at her friend and walked towards to hug her
