Part 48 Glimpse

"Dad?", he stopped from swinging his club with that call and faced the back door of their house. It's Emman who called

The guy with his hair and eye color jogged towards him looking desperate

He took the club on his shoulder while facing the guy, "What's your problem?"

"Well, ahm", Emman averted his eyes towards the Sanders skyline while rubbing his hands on his hips

He sighed, "What did you do this time?"

"Dad, got problem"

"In the office?", he asked. His son took the electronic side of their company while Charlie took the other manufacturing side. He's not keen on retiring early like his father so he still got the overall control

"No"

"What is it?", he laughed and turned to take that golf ball again, "Don't tell me you get someone pregnant"

There's a pregnant silence on earth, except the heavily breathing of his son

He turned at him scowling, "Oh no"

"Dad, it's Audrey"

"Shit! She's too young!", he exclaimed while he let go of that club at last.

Emman rolled his eyes, "She already graduated from college!"

"You are so going to be in trouble whatever her age is! What's your plan now?"

"I'm marrying her, that's the plan but we didn't talk about baby as early as this", Emman said wincing

"Then why are you look like you're taking a piss here if you'll marry her?", he asked nervously because he knew the father, the guy's a tough one

"Dad….", Emman exhaled while shutting his eyes then finally looked at him with still nervous blue eyes, "Audrey's dad's coming.… With a shotgun"

"Oh fuck!", he blurted and run towards the house while dialling his phone. "Tin where are you?", he asked himself. His wife was not answering the phone. Not a good time to be unreachable. Maybe because she's at her project site. It's the new airport they designed

He tried dialling a number but it seems like the younger Roberts knew his next move

"Uncle Carl said it's your problem now. I called him earlier", Emman said nervously. The giant guy might be busy in his kitchen at the moment, still barking around even if he got someone out there to manage things and that's his daughter Dani

Liam's out of the question. His brother's in Japan for another honeymoon. He doesn't even know what's the name of Liam's new wife. He even lost count if it's the fifth or the fourth

Charlie's at Southern Island again to do some odd jobs in their factory so that he would know what's going on first hand

"Oh no, my last resort", he spoke to himself while dialling another number. The last resort but the best chess defense against that raging guy

"Luke, not a right time to talk to me!", a woman shouted at him along with another shouting guy in her background

"You son of a bitch I'm going to kill you for stealing my daughter!", a guy shouted. Okay that sounds like Gab White

"Gab White, I'm not a bitch, use another statement, I'll be strangling you to death right now!", he heard the woman roared

"What's going on there?", he frowned

"Gab White, I'm gripping his neck right now! So please stop disturbing us!", the woman shouted still

"Why are you holding his neck?", he asked

"Because he's going to kill my son!", she shouted in reply

"Christian? Why? O whatever, Jb, please come here I'm in trouble", he begged

"My son's in trouble here, Luke! Find your own troubleshooter. Patricia! Hold your husband!", Jb shouted still

Christian is Jb's only son. A Princeton engineering graduate and worked in states for four years as a structural engineer before coming home to help their company. Jb's proud of her son until he married one of Gab White's daughters in Las Vegas a week before. They just went home and trying to calm the politician and it seems like they're not doing it well. Gab got four daughters, they made fun of that since the guy's womanizer in his heyday. Those four dark haired were all pretty print ad models with one who recently crossed to professional acting

"Your son can handle that! Gab can't do anything anyways, they're married!", he said in all nervousness

"What is it your problem!", Jb shouted

"Simon's coming with a shotgun!", he shouted too. That answer silence the other line and there's some heavy breathing

"Why? It's unlawful to kill a person even if it's you", Gab said on the background. Oh no, they're on speaker

He shut his eyes and exhaled first before answering that sarcastic question, "Emman, he impregnate Audrey"

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat", that long and pitchy statement said it all. She's also listening.

"Ahm, Frida's holding my phone Luke", Jb informed him….

Late

"I'm going to kill your player of a son Luke, I told him get miles away from my daugher!", Frida shouted on the phone while breathing heavily

"Oh no, Frida! That's my phone", Jb said on the line

"I don't care I'm going to their mansion to strangle his son too. If he's still alive from that shotgun! For…."

He ended his phone and exhaled very very deep. He can't stand Frida's pitchy tone anyways. Audrey is Frida's only daughter. She and Simon got two sons too. Those two are stock market rockstars and also trained boxers, meaning, Emman is in real trouble

"I think we can't do anything now but wait for Simon to load his shotgun infront of us", he said head downcasted

"Uncle Luke!", a strong female voice called

"Oh no, not this day", he blurted and faced the direction where that voice coming from. It's Kris. Short for Kristine. Carl's youngest and the most favorite daughter, maybe because she possessed the same hair, eye color of her mother, along with her grit.

"Why is Uncle Simon's in the driveway with a shotgun?", the girl asked

"Why are you here?", he asked instead wincing

"Mom said to come here since she can't arrest uncle Gab's anger at James mansion. She said it's safer here", the younger girl reasoned

"I think you need to hide somewhere else for your own safety", he replied instead. Carl got three daughters. Dani brought up in a pink room at their Brinson's house with four old guys who always looked on her wellbeing and very protected. Simon always reminding her not to date a guy like Luke Roberts. When Dani came back from a culinary school at France with blonde guy rockstar full of arm tattoos, Carl almost had a heart attack but at least the second daughter, Alex, who's a medical practicioner stopped that from happening by knowing how to calm him

The mother on the otherhand almost killed the guy with a bolo knife but Simon was there to stopped her

Today, it's Simon who's coming and he's not prepared to face his wrath

"Emmanuel Roberts! Come out of there!", the guy roared

"Oh no"
