19. Not ready

We both stop somewhere in the center, Oscar holds his hand out for me to take.

"Do you even know how to dance Diaz?" I smirk slightly

"Actually I do." He smirks back as I give him a playful look. I slowly put my hand in his as he wraps his fingers around and brings me closer.

Suddenly he yanks my arm towards him and I soon find myself chest to chest with him and our faces only inches apart. He's trying to show off, okay.

I wrap my arms around his neck and quickly but playfully pull his face closer to mine leaving centimeters between our lips. I smile mischievously. I slowly run my hand down is chest. I missed this.

Then he quickly spins me out. He had the biggest smirk on his face. That smirk only means one thing... 'let's have some fun'. I'm quickly brought back in with my back against his chest. We swayed a bit as I felt his breath on my neck. I don't know what is but it's like he makes me forget everything.

I slowly turn my body towards him as he slowly wraps his arms around my waist leaving no space between us.

Oscars POV.

I look in her eyes with her arms around my neck. I know we're just messing around but... there's something here. I know it. I grab her bare leg from the split in her dress and pull it up against the side my leg slowly. Her lips slightly part as her eyes widen just a bit. I smile and bit my lip, then I dip her unexpectedly. I know she didn't see that coming because I heard the smallest gasp come from her lips. Her chest and cleavage was even more visible with the way she was dipped. I lift her up slowly, she had the biggest smile on her face I'd ever seen. I did that. That smile on her face was because of me. I'm happy.

Toby's POV.

He smiled back at me and I think that's the biggest smile that has ever been on Oscar Diaz's face. I'm happy. That smile on his face is because of me. I did that. He takes my hands and lifts it slowly as our fingertips a line. Our fingers intertwine. He softly pushes me away, keeping our hands together. Then brings me in fast but instead put our hands on his chest. He looks in my eyes and I swear I saw something. It went away when he let go of one of my hands and put his lonely hand on my waist pulling me closer, forcing my head against his chest. What was that? In his eyes, there was something there.

Oscars POV.

I saw it. The panic in her eyes when I looked at her. I think I played it off but I have to get back on the mood. I separate ourselves and put her hand above her head then I spin her around about ten times before I slowly bring her back in with space between us this time. We sway a bit before the end of the song. At the end of the song I take her hand and kiss it. I look at her one more time before walking away.  I found something out tonight, but....

She's not ready to hear it.

Toby's POV.

After he walks away I turn around and look for some place to sit, I see a balcony and I quickly walk towards the outside doors. I sigh at the breeze and lean against the balcony. I wipe the tear that fall. All I can think about is Sad Eyes, I feel guilty. I found something out tonight, but...

I'm not ready to admit it.
