15. Fly

It's like an absolute dream the clouds don't feel like cotton candy, but passing through them, feels absolutely amazing the sky was beyond blue, the wind, the sun everything just felt amazing.

I didn't think about what would happen when I see my dad. To be honest I don't really know I'm kinda nervous but I need answers. I need to know about this power...I need to save Antonio. This is not how I expected my summer to be.

I see Oscar, It looks like he is having the time of his life right now he looks happy, free. A look you don't see on Oscar Diaz's face often.

"LAND!!" Emmanuel instructed that's when I saw it, the most beautiful castle I've ever seen it was so tall and just... magical. I looked just below me and saw...mermaids?...and on the grass...sword fighting. I looked back up and that's when I finally heard the the yelling.

A dragon?!... heading straight for me the Pegasus dogged but I fell off. Shit I knew this would happen. As I get ready to feel pavement instead I felt arms... Julio. He drops me right in front of the castle. Where Emmanuel and Oscar were. Oscar rushes towards me after I touch the ground.

"You okay? You hurt." He says touching my face.

"I'm fine I'm fine" i sigh and turn towards Julio "thank you"

"No problem."

I nod. I turn back to Oscar who is staring at me with worry in his eyes. I grab his hands and look straight at him.

"I am fine don't worry...okay?" His grip tightens as he takes a deep breath and nods.

"Okay"

He pulls me into a hug, as I wrap my arms around him I hear him whisper.

"I can't lose you too."

I slowly pull away and look at Julio.

"What now?"

"Now we must all get into proper attire to meet the king. there is a celebration tonight for the birth of the moon. The moon is what gives Sirenia life so every 3rd summer we have a celebration to the moon at its fullest. You will meet him there."

You know I love how he can say all of this so calmly and naturally while I'm over here like 'what the fuck is a moon birth'

I nod my head okay as we enter the doors of the castle. Right when we walk in two gorgeous woman come up
To me and start talking as they attempt to drag me away. I look in panic at Julio as Oscar is ready to charge while I'm about to throw fist.

"Its okay, it's okay. Rose, Amaria let the poor girl go, can't you see you've startled her."

"Oh I am so so sorry we didn't mean to" one of the girls say "I am Rose and this is Amaria"

I nod "It's nice to meet you"

"We have all kinds of outfits for you to choose from. Come with us."

I slowly follow but not before looking at Oscar as starts walking with me.

"Oscar that's just for the ladies you come with us" Julio says amused

I look at Oscar and motion him to go ahead.

"I'll be fine." I says before following Rose and Amaria.
