Glass broke. Windows shattered. Furniture tarred. Antonio and I quickly dived to the kitchen floor. Gunshots? Drive by? Something flys past me and grazes my arm. I turn to the direction it was going as it shots straight into the couch.
Arrows!?
I turn to Sad eyes to see him shooting back. Oscar comes around the corner quickly, gun in hand already shooting. I slowly stand up and quickly run towards the window to see who the hell was shooting arrows at us.
Soldiers!?
Not only that but GREEK soldiers! like men in black armor from like roman times and helmets with.....feathers? They have on sandals and flowy Aladdin pants all in black as their... shooting ARROWS at us! WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!?
"TOBY!"
Everything was suddenly in slow motion. I turned towards the direction of the voice, my eyes widen in horror as I see an arrow aiming straight for me.
Why did I freeze? I could've just dived the other way. I've never been in this position before, I sure have witnessed and been present for a shooting here or there, but I've never actually seen death right in front of me. Stared him ... straight in eyes. Watched my entire life... flash. I could've moved, why didn't I move?
He jumped in front of me.
