25. Only you

I was standing outside of the cave staring up at the night sky, the blue wonder filled with stars that tell stories of people I never thought could exist, until now. Im kinda wishing I never knew. I've seen two people that i could have grown to love, die in the last 24 hours and now... my mom. A person I actually have grown to love and have shared so much time with, is on a clock and I have the power to make that time stop. I don't know what to do and my head hurts and my heart hurts, but i'm outta tears. I cant cry anymore.

I hear steps but I don't turn around to see who it is. I know. I almost forgot the one problem I really don't need. My feelings for Oscar. Its like his fire radiates off him, cause I can feel his flames, his warmth.

Just then Im taken by surprise when I'm hit with a chill. I feel something i never thought Id feel again. Him. His cold breeze, Its like I can feel him through the breeze.

The flames over power though, and he's gone.

I close my eyes.

I know.

¨you okay?¨

I turn to Oscar with tears in my eyes and his eyes tell me what his mouth can't. It's what I needed to know.

'I'm still here.'

I put my hands on his face as he leans into my hand I look in his eyes and like time had stopped, my moments with Oscar had all flashed through my mind.

I'm ready.

I leaned in and just like that my lips were on his.

Oscar:

After I woke up and didn't find her next to me I freaked out and quickly got up to check outside.

She looked more beautiful than ever under the moon light she was still in her dress for the kings party, as it blowed in the wind. Breath taking.

I approached her, I think she knew I was there and I knew what she was thinking.

"You okay?"

She turned to me and I could see all the pain in her eyes. I wanted to say,

'I'm still here. You haven't lost everyone'

But I just stared and I think she understood when she put her hands on my face gently.

Then I saw something in her eyes. Something that changed so fast in the last hours.

She's ready.

I felt her lips on mine as we slowly moved them together. I wrapped my arms around her waste as she did the same but around my neck.

I held her tight, I never want to let go.

I lifted her as she wrapped her legs around my waist and I carried her back in the shade and darkness of the cave.

I laid her down on the leaves in the space as we kissed and touched, I went to unzip her dress when she stopped me.

"Wait wait..." she took a breath "Julio and Andromeda, what if they come back?"

I shook my head "don't worry Andromeda said they'll be all night on the west mountain and that the mountains are protected so we'll be safe."

She looked at me and nodded and slowly reached for the hem of my shirt, lifting it over my head.

I unzipped the back of her dress and slowly slid it off of her. I didn't want to do this like we normally did, so I looked at her and slowly leaned in to kiss her chest then I slowly went up to her collar bone and her neck, then her jaw and cheek, then her lips. The kiss was slow and full of life.
