From my hands erupted pale blue, almost white sparks, that shot from my finger tips, down to the cracked concrete below me. The feeling of the sparks, had almost a painful sensation bursting through my hands, but it was still manageable. Still, due to the situation I was in, the stress got to me, and before I could think I had curled myself into a little ball, using my arms and the concrete to protect me from myself.

When the sparks have finally come to an end, I looked up from the ball I curled into. The sound of gravel crunching under someone's shoes, filled my ears, and I shot up, ready to attack whoever was coming at me. As I look up I see Time Keeper staring down with a mischievous grin plastered on her face. My face immediately lights up.

"Oh my what a predicament we have here." She drawled. She was walking slowly towards me, like a predator stalking its prey, and I tensed.

"What do you mean, I literally see you here every day now." I joked, trying to lighten the mood.

She chuckled and still advanced, looking a little less menacing compared to her previous stature.

"Kid, don't play stupid, it doesn't suit you. I saw what you did." She pulled up an empty wooden crate, and sat down in front of me. "I thought you were powerless."

"That's what I assumed as well." I muttered under my breath, while playing with a simple gold ring around my middle finger, but she heard it anyways.

"Well its not a fully charged power yet so I assume you will get it soon." She explained, a wide smile. I stared at her curiously, she just seemed way too happy about this. All of a sudden, she jumps up causing me to jolt from the sudden movement.

"Would you like to meet one of my friends?" She chirped, still oddly happy. She paused waiting for my reaction and I nodded quietly and smiled. She smiled and turned towards the entrance of the alley.

"Psycho get your fat ass over here now." She called out, glaring at the direction of what looked like an empty alleyway entrance.

I chuckled and glanced curiously over to where she was glaring. A guy walked over and I noticed his blond hair and crazy orange eyes, his suit consisted of a green jumpsuit with white details of almost DNA strands or codes, probably representing his abilities. I smile and extended my hand to shake his but I was forcefully stopped when Time Keeper snatches my hand away.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." She chuckled as the villain shot a glare her way, obviously due to his reaction, I knew that she did something he didn't like. She shot him an almost taunting smile before explaining, "His powers are in the mind, he's dangerous, psychokinesis to be exact. If he makes contact with you, your done for. He can easily read you and use his powers against you."

He scowled playfully and tossed a pebble her way. I watched soar through the air and eventually hit off her head, causing her to flick him on the arm. As I look up towards him, he smiled at me. He once again offered his hand, to which I politely declined. He looks down at me and smirks, it's not like Time Keepers smile, which can be either calming or terrifying, it's unnerving and could send chills down anyone's spine, even if that wasn't the final goal.

"Smart girl." He drawls, his voice sounded deeper and almost gravelly. "The names Psycho" he nods in my direction to which I return. He freezes for a second and by that point it's to late I know he read my mind, I don't know how though, he never shook my hand.
