Hank Anderson had just begun getting settled into his routine of having the RK800 android in his life and work. But he could have never expected a second android being forced into his care.

North wasted no time getting up off of the ground. She had ended up on the river banks, clawing her way senselessly through the freezing water that she didn't need to feel to know its deathly temperature. She looks around, her system running self-diagnostics automatically. She looks for other bodies, dead or alive.
"North?" It was Kara's gentle voice from inside the receeding forests. North's chest relaxes just a bit knowing that they made. If they made it, others would have made it too.
She tirelessly rounded up the androids, hearing the wail of sirens on the bridge they had jumped off, the river had carried them quite a bit away and off course. Her eyes searched for a green jacket that Kat had been wearing after they gathered up their small party of androids, having told them to go hide inside the forests just in case of a helicopter having been sent to look for them. After all, they had killed someone and that was only because they hadn't given Kat the option. Maybe Kat hadn't even made it out.
North's chest tihtens at the thought of Kat not making it. But she was a fighter and that sort of negativity was certainly not what they needed right now. North chews on her lip, eyes moving to the river to look for any odd objects floating by.
As her eyes scan the water, in her peripheral she can see something move and she immediately runs towards it.
"Kat!" North yelps, throwing herself to the ground beside Kat who was coughing out some water, patting her chest lightly.
Kat couldn't feel any part of her body. Not sure if she was still coming down from the adrenaline rush or if it was the freezing water that most certainly impacted her human parts, feeling the stiffness of her joints as she pulls herself into a sitting position, the soaking clothes making it worse.
"Are you hurt? Are you cold?" North asks, an arm around her shoulders. Kat shakes her head, her lips tinted with a soft blue. "Kat!" There's a shout from the forest and Kat looks up to see Alice, Kara holding her hand and holding her back from running to Kat who manages a shaky smile, her body shaking trying to generate heat and her android counterparts feeling a system destabilisation. The two sides of her worked together and suffered together. She felt the emptiness of not having an arm and not having a leg, not having half her abdomen and the coldness didn't extend that far. It never affected her like this but now she felt panic as if she had just taken note of the parts of her that were missing.
The harsh sound of the chopping blades of a helicopter interrupted them and they look up to see a helicopter, searchlight already on, slowly advancing towards their end of the bridge. Their end of the bridge. They made it to Canada.
"Come on." Kat says in the most determined voice. This was the last leg of the journey. Find the house of the human helping the androids cross over. Rose was it? She stands shakily, North assisting her before disappearing into the forest, joining their group, unlike Marcus, hoping to become invisible.
