I was walking into the building when someone called my name, turning around I see Nick jogging up to me.
"Hey how are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm good, what about you?" I reply.
"I'm doing pretty good too. I was wondering if you wanted to do something tonight after practice?" He asked me shyly.
Blushing I say, "I would love to."
We walk into the building side by side and are greeted by Gianna.
She gives us a smile and asks how are day is going in which Nick quickly replies saying that his day is going amazing.
"So I will give you two a hint about what we are doing this week" Gianna tells me and Nick and then continues with, "It has everything to do with dark romance."
"Carson" Maddie yells running up to me waving her phone in my face.
"You, Nick, and me were invited to perform at the Teen Choice Awards" She screams jumping in which I soon join her.
"When is it" I ask.
"Its this weekend on Sunday in LA," Fik says joining our conversation.
"You three will not participate in this weeks competition but rather focus on the Award Show number" He explains further.
We all nod in agreement.
I then excuse myself to call my brother.
On the third ring he picks up, "Hey is something wrong?" He says.
"Nope but guess what!" I tell him.
"What"
"Me, Maddie, and Nick were invited to the Teen Choice Awards and I am nominated for Choice Dancer" I basically scream into the phone.
"Congratulations," He says then adds, "I'm happy for you."
"Thanks J, I gotta go, talk later" I say before I hang up.
Walking in the room everyone is already there and Fik is explaining why three will be gone this week.
So I sit down and then Gianna starts talking, "So there will be no group routine this week but one trio and two solos."
"One solo will go to Eva Igo, and the other one to Mackenzie, the trio will be Diana Powbo and Jojo Siwa."
"Everyone break off and warm up" Fik said finishing up our group talk.
"Hey Mackenzie, you excited for your solo this week?" I ask.
She nods excitedly.
