i pull up to nadia's house and park in my usual spot. i enter her beautiful house and say hi to her mom and walk upstairs.

i open the door to see nadia on facetime with someone. it's johnny orlando.

i can hear her laughing and flirting with johnny. i can't say that it didn't hurt me. but i can't be jealous, i have ashton!

"ughh!" i say. nadia hears me and looks towards the door.

"hey kenzie! when did you get here?"

"um just now, who are you talking to?"

"um johnny orlando? do you remember him from school?"

"uh yeah i think i do,"

"ok then come say hi,"

"alrighty,"

i walk over and sit on her bed. nadia holds the phone out so we are both in the frame. i can't help but admire johnny. i begin to blush, but i hide it by waving.

"hey kenzie, it's johnny! remember me from that school trip to flordia?"

"ohh yeah! are you going on it again this year?"

"yes i'm pretty sure. are you?"

"definitely,"

"ok see you there,"

"um nadia," i say, "i'm gonna go to the bathroom,"

"ok say bye to johnny,"

"bye johnny boy,"

"hahaha bye mack z," john says.

i blush at the nick name he gave me. i walk into the hall and check my phone.

"shit," i say when i see messages from ashton.

sometimes ashton can be controlling. well more than sometimes. but i just brush it off.

after going to the bathroom, i walk back into nadia's room. but there's someone else in there. it's a tall guy with brown hair.

he turns around and i'm in shock. it's johnny. what's he doing here? why is he in nadia's room?

"hey um nads can i talk to you for a sec?" i say.

"yeah sure,"

we walk into the hall and i whisper to her, "what's he doing here? why is he in your bedroom alone with you?"

"uh i invited him over. ashton text me and said he had a crush on me,"

"and so your mom is ok with you inviting random boys to your house?"
