lauren's pov
things have been different around the house, specifically johnny. today is the day my parents leave for their 2 month trip to australia to visit their long-lost friends. johnny and i will be left alone with our sisters.
we say goodbye to our parents and watch as their cab pulls away.
"hey ready to party!" johnny yells as we walk into the house.
"shut up john," maddie yells from upstairs.
the doorbell rings. we assume it's mom or dad and they have forgotten something. we will soon learn that we were so wrong.
"hey johnny go get the door!"
"no you get it. i'll start making dinner,"
"ugh fine,"
johnny's pov
my parents cab drives out of the driveway. lauren and i wave goodbye and head inside.
"hey ready to party!" i yell.
lauren laughs and my sister maddie yells from upstairs. i'm stomach growls, indicating that i'm hungry.
i walk into the kitchen and start boiling some water. i hear the doorbell ring.
lauren yells for me to open the door but i'm making dinner and i don't want to walk. i wish i would've opened the door.
