Sloane showed up to school a few weeks later on her 17th birthday. She had on leggings and a converse shoes and tight fitted shirt and a slouchie beanie and her red hair curled. He came up behind her and said "Happy Birthday Sloane." 

She turned around and he handed a iced coffee and a dunkin donuts bag and she looked inside and saw two glazed donuts. She said "you got me breakfast for my birthday." 

"Well yeah.. I thought I would be nice I do know how to be nice." he said 

She rolled her eyes and said "You can buy me all the breakfast in the world and I still won't sleep with you Barnes." 

"Okay well I was just trying to be nice for your birthday I wasn't trying to sleep with you." he said

"Thanks.." she said as she turned back around 

"By the way you look good today. Love the outfit and the hair." he said 

"Bucky stop." she said 

"Whatever bye." he said as he walked away. 

Sam stopped him when he seen that he looked pissed off and he said "Hey man what's wrong." 

"I try and be nice like you said and that got me no where. It's her birthday and I got her breakfast and she was still a bitch to me." Bucky said 

"Oh.." Sam said 

"It's whatever I'll just go find some other girl." he said as he walked away.

Steve walked up to Sam and said "What's his deal." 

"He's still trying to win Queen Bee's heart and she keeps being her self to him. And I told him to try and be nice and less flirty. He tried that this morning and got her breakfast from dunkin donuts and she acted like a bitch about it." Sam said 

"Oh.. " Steve said 

Bucky watched her flirt around all day with other football players and acted like she was so happy when Deacon gave her a cupcake for her birthday. He walked out of the lunch room and Sam said "Buck.." 

Natasha found Sloane after lunch and said "Hey what is going on with you." 

"Nothing why?' she said 

"Well not that I am his biggest fan but you really hurt Bucky's feelings at lunch today." Natasha said 

"What are you talking about?' she said 

"Your reaction to Deacon's cupcake was a lot more friendlier than your reaction to Bucky giving you breakfast this morning for your birthday." Natasha said 

Sloane rolled her eyes and said "For the love of God Natasha the first day you met me you told me that he was nothing but a player all he does is fuck and drop and told me to stay away. I don't like players my first boyfriend was a player I lost my virginity to someone that couldn't keep it in his pants and be exclusively with me. So no I will not act happy that the biggest player in the school gave me donuts for my birthday I don't have to be nice about it." 

She slammed her locker and walked away. 

Bucky was standing behind her when she went off on Natasha. Natasha looked over at him and said "I'm sorry I tried." 

"Don't worry about Nat I've decided that I'm done.. she's never going to give me a chance." he said and then said "I have football practice." and he left.
