Tell Me Why...

Reflection.
Hollow eyes gazing back at me,
Tell me who you are, who you want to be.

I see nothing in your eyes,
No sign of future happiness,
No sign of inner peace or prosperity.
Tell me, how did you become so cold?

Your eyes are lukewarm and fading,
Your soul is freezing and cold,
You are dying before my very eyes.
Tell me, how long do you have left until you see the end?

Shade clouds your judgement, blinds your eyes,
And shows you your bleak future,
Yet you still exist, a cancerous blight for others.
Tell me, why are you like this?

You exist, breathing noxious air,
Your existence is equivalent to that of a poisonous smog,
Yet you continue to breathe when no one wants you to exist.
Tell me, why do you persist?

Happiness is fleeting,
It constantly eludes you
And your disgusting existence.
Tell me, what would make you happy?

Sadness is your only friend,
The only one that refuses to leave your side
As you envision austere melancholy tombs.
Tell me, why are you miserable?
Why can you never smile?

Your hollow eyes are glazed over with tears,
You are not supposed to feel anything,
Yet I can see you breaking inside.
Why do you refuse to get help?

Reflection with dark, hollow eyes
And the dying, freezing soul,
Can you tell me why life is so bleak?
Can you tell me why I want to die?
