(A/N it's the moment we have all been waiting for!!!!)
Zach found out that Corbyn and  Jack go round each others houses every Tuesday. It had started when Jack's parents needed a childminder to look after him whilst she and her husband were at work and Corbyn's mum decided to help him out. The pair had been best friends ever since.

Today Zach had joined them. He felt like an intruder to their friendship, but stuck around regardless, haplessly craving the happy affection of friendship which he hadn't felt to this level on quite some time. They all watched a movie, one that Zach had never heard of and could barely see.

He sat there confused about the plot the entire time, occasionally laughing along to the jokes because he was too nervous to ask the boys if they could play it in audio-descibed mode but to him that was okay, because he was only a guest.

Eventually, Jack had to go home and Zach had to go and see Jonah. Corbyn's mum had offered to drive him there which is why he nevously sat next to Corbyn with shaking hands.

"what's wrong?" Corbyn asked him, realising his unsettled posture.

"Uh.. Well my friend." he sighed not knowing how to explain what he needed to do.

"what do you mean?" Corbyn asked.

Zach couldn't keep the words in any longer, as they shot out as the simplified version of is train of thoughts. "I need to tell him that I'm going blind." he buried his face in his hands, not knowing what to do.

Corbyn did. He pulled out his phone and started speaking as he found what he was looking for. "My friend wrote this for someone at my school who was scared about coming out to his parents. Only three people have heard it. Me, the boy at school, and my friend who wrote it. He doesn't sing it anymore though. I think you should hear it, it might help you. "

Zach nodded, taking in the lyrics of the song as he walked to the  door and knocked three times.

I'm telling to to take your shot...

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

And he answered the door about 30 seconds later.

... It might be scary

There was a faint sound of peppa pig coming from another room, but with his heart in his mouth, Zach felt like it was a million miles away.

Hearts are gonna break,

He took a deep breath. "I hope you won't leave me when I tell you this, but you probably will."

... We dont have the time to be sorry,

"why would I leave you?" Jonah asked, taking hold on Zach's shaking hands.

"because I'm a burden."

So, baby be the life of the party

"what are you going on about? Your scaring my Zach, Jonah said, getting slowly more concerned.

Together we can just let go

"There's no point, you'll just leave and I don't want you to leave." Zach said, tears running down his cheeks. He looked away from Jonah.

Pretend that there's no one else here that we know

"Zach, just tell me. I promise you that I won't leave." Jonah said, Desperate to find out what was wrong.

Slow dance, fall in love

"you promise?"

As the club track plays

"I promise," his words were barely audible, but enough.

"I'm going blind."

Jonah stood there, not expecting to words to come out if his mouth. Their hands disconnected. "I-" Jonah started, not knowing what to say.

"I knew it, you hate me, you hate me!" Zach was sobbing hysterically as he scrambled to leave, but once again Jonah grabbed hold of his wrists and pulled the boy into a hug.

We don't care what them people say,

And as if on cue, Jonah started to cry as well.

We don't have to be ordinary,

"darling, I wouldn't leave you if you told me you had robbed a bank." Jonah whispered in his ear.

Make your best mistakes

It was it this point Zach felt something hat he had never felt before.

'cause we don't have the time to be sorry,

He couldn't say it to the boy, but he hoped it was mutual

So baby be the life of the party

Because Zach was in love with Jonah.

But what were the chances that Jonah was gay like Zach?

As if on que, Jonah started singing Corbyn's song.

And suddenly, he had his answer.
