Perrie was late. She had woken up late today, though she only had an hour or two of sleep. All night, her thoughts were tossing and turning in her head the way she tossed and turned in bed. Everyone knew how much she loved sleep, but sleep did not love her that particular night. This was not only because a certain brunette did not lay snuggled on her, but also because that certain brunette could be mad at her. She never wanted to get Jade pissed but she did last night, and that, she paid a price for.

Now she was rushing to work. She quickly showered then just put on comfy clothes and rushed out the door. She had to apply her makeup in the car on the way. But such was bad luck, when she was to start off, a reckless driver almost ran into her vehicle, leaving her shocked, shaking and unable to apply anything until they reached the studio. She had no choice but to apply make up once she got in for the video shoot. But before she could do that, she needed something to calm her nerves.

“Perrie!” Jesy and Leigh called once they saw her. She was still shaking from the incident earlier and she looked really pale.

Jade was finishing up with her lipstick in front of the mirror. She saw her blonde come in but she was still somehow pissed at her. She went on looking at her own reflection, checking if everything looked perfect. Suddenly, a pair of pale arms wrapped around her waist from behind her.

“ Baby” Perrie sobbed into her shoulder. Jade felt the shaking of off Perrie. She could not help but feel worried about the girl. She could sense that it wasn't just about last night's little argument, so she turned to face the blonde. She gently pushed her off to look into her eyes, where she saw anxiety clouding and starting to drip out as tears.

Now Jade was sure there was something more wrong than her being pissed at Perrie. Something happened to the blonde. And all she wanted was to get the blonde calm.

“Tell me what's wrong.” She gently whispered to the tearful girl. She looked at the other two bandmates as a signal for them to come over, but Perrie shook her head.

“Can I have Jade for a while?” blue eyes pleaded.

Being the elder ones, Jesy and Leigh understood, nodded their heads and went over to Aaron who assessed their hair and did a few final touches on.

Meanwhile, Perrie still held on to Jade like she was holding on to dear life.

“Babe…I’m sorry.” She murmured.

“Shh. I've forgiven you.” Jade cooed. “I’m not mad anymore. If anything, it was me that overreacted last night, and I'm sorry. But I know there's something more.”

Perrie took a deep breath. “Let me tell you how much I love you.”

“I love you too. You know that.”

“I know, but I feel like I haven't been showing you how much I love you lately. And earlier, I realized, what if I died out there without having told you much?”

Jade looked at her with furrowed brows. “Don’t you ever talk about death, it scares me, especially when you’re talking about you.” She scolded.

Perrie pressed her eyelids closed and sighed “A car almost ran into mine today and I can’t help getting scared and think of…you know…” she dropped the last part knowing full well that Jade did not want to hear it because she'll get scared.

“Oh my God!” Jade's eyes went wide in shock. She pulled Perrie close and hugged her tight. “Thank God, you're okay.”

“Yeah. It made me realize how much I love you and need to show you that each day.” Perrie wrapped her arms around Jade once more. “I love you so much.”

They stayed in their embrace for a while and soon the blonde's shaking had calmed.

Noticing that everything's all set, Jade led Perrie to one of the chairs.

“Let's do your make up, love.” She said, taking Perrie’s make up kit from one of her bags. Perrie smiled up at the brunette, loving the feel of her fingers on her face and the slight pout she does whenever she was into something and is seriously into it.

“I love you Baba.” She blurted out.

“I know. I love you too.” Jade smiled down at her. “Now keep those beautiful eyes of yours closed while I finish up on them.”

“You always say my eyes are beautiful.” Perrie commented.

“It’s true.” Jade defended while putting on the last touches of natural color on the blonde's lids.

“To tell you Babe,” Perrie opened her eyes and stared at Jade's face with a glimmer in them. “My eyes are beautiful because they're looking at you.”

Perrie’s words sent Jade's insides swarm with butterflies. She began to blush madly. She did not know how but Perrie always managed to make her feel really different, like an unexplainable feeling that only the blonde gave her. She was lost for words to respond with. All she could do was smile down at her girlfriend. Perrie was wrong when she said she hadn’t been very expressive towards her. There were only times that Jade could overreact and look beyond Perrie’s affection towards her. Just like last night. At least, they're okay now. And Perrie’s realization had become her own. Now she wanted to show how much she loved the blonde and avoid overreacting like she’d done last night.

“You two all ready?” Jesy came close to them.

“Yeah. What do you say of Perrie's makeup?” Jade presented her masterpiece.

Jesy, who had sensed the tension between the two younger ones last night smiled and answered. “It’s great! And it's also great to see you've made up.”

Then she sniggered. “Maybe I should piss you off next time so I get you to work on my face.”

Perrie shook her head with a grin. “I’ll try never to piss you off again, Jade. I promise.”

Jade shrugged happily. Then leant down to peck Perrie’s lips to which the blonde kissed back immediately.

“Don’t get it on right now, though.” Jesy interrupted. “Leigh’s starting to go diva again waiting for us to start.”

Jerrie chuckled. “Okay. Let’s go.” They exclaimed and walked hand in hand towards the entire team.
