After wrapping up their last show, the girls had time to spend the way they wanted to- go out with their boyfriends, go clubbing or just stay home and chill. But to Jade and Perrie, it was more work than when they're rehearsing or going on shows. And it was way more tiring not being beside each other.
Though both were from Shields as everyone knows, they barely had time to meet up. What with Jade having to accompany Jed on his band's tour in America, Perrie felt so lonely. With the World Cup looming then, she could not have Alex beside her all the time to keep her distracted, as he had much games. She felt jealous, not only because the other girls were having quality time with their boyfriends and she isn't, but because Jade was spending more time with Jed now, even though she was sure she had Jade's heart.
It somehow lessened her loneliness whenever Jade texted her or Facetimed her. And no, she wasn't naked whenever she called. Their calls were spent with Jade telling her about her day with Jed, with sighs of "I wish it were you with me."
Those moments reassured Perrie that she owns the petite girl's heart. But it did not take away the longing to hold Jade in her arms, or cuddle with her while watching Disney or Nick. At least she had Hatchi. But Hatchi's not enough. She needed her girlfriend more.
"I think I should be getting an Academy Award by now." Jade chuckled one night in Facetime. "I don't even get talent fees for acting happy without you here." Jade whined dramatically shaking her head. She was so cute doing that, Perrie can't help but laugh.
"And I even wonder why you did not get that Princess Jasmine role." She smirked.
"Babe..." Jade complained. "You know I don't want to ever talk about that audition again."
Perrie nodded with the smirk still on her face, while lifting her hand as if in surrender.
Jade was now pouting. And Perrie found it so adorable, she just had to find words that would describe how much love she feels now, and always did for that cute face on her screen.
"Well, you don't really need to be that role to be a princess" she cooed. "You already are MY princess."
Jade finally smiled happily. "You're being cheesy again." She giggled.
"And you bloody like it." Perrie proudly added.
"Yeah, I do." Then, the frown crossed her face again. "But I really, really, really miss you, Babe."
"Oh Baby girl, I miss you so much too." Perrie returned. "It's been really lonely without you here." She confessed.
Jade sighed. "A few more days. I'll be right back in your arms." She promised.
Perrie smiled coyly at her. "Can't wait for that."
And when that day came, their 'welcome back' hug was so tight they seemed to have glued their shirts together.
They just finished recording 'Only You' with Cheat Codes and were just chilling at the studio now.
"Pez," Jade said suddenly.
"Hmmm?"
"Would you mind going with me to the blue room? It's kinda scary in there." the brunette pouted.
"Of course not." Perrie winked at her, standing up and offering her hand for Jade to hold.
Jade was happy she could hold that hand again. She had missed that warmth in her palm and the soft massaging fingers on her knuckles.
Perrie led her to the lavatory at the end of the hall and let her into one of the cubicles, standing by its doorway to wait for Jade.
She was still talking about how great it feels to be back in the studio, back to work on their new album.
