Lacey

I laid on the bed and heard the front door open and close, then footsteps coming up the steps. My door flew open as I turned and looked at Vincent.

"Why aren't you dressed?" He questioned me.

"I was waiting for you to go through another bout of food poisoning," I grinned.

"Cute," he rolled his eyes. "Get dressed. I'll meet you downstairs," he ordered. The meeting must have gone well. He's back to his charming self.

I looked through the drawers and found a bikini to wear. This item made me wonder if Vincent is hiding the fact that he wore women's clothes. I mean, what guy keeps women's clothing in a house when it's him?

Once I finished, I left the bedroom and came downstairs to find him putting food into the picnic basket. He looked at me as I stood there. "Later on, I have plans that don't include you wearing that bikini."

I smirked. I learned about Vincent because he has a sexual appetite like no other, not even my clients.

Vincent

I finished packing the picnic basket. We left the beach house through the back door, walking to the beach. To see Lacey in that bikini drove me mad. I want to tear it off of her and ravish her to the ends of the earth. I swear this woman drives me insane with desire.

We arrived at our spot, and I set everything up before we walked to the water. We went for a swim first. As we swam around, I pulled her to me and captured her lips with mine before letting her go.

We swam more before emerging from the water and walking over to the blanket I laid on the ground. Dripping with water, it would be a matter of minutes before the sun-dried us.

After sitting, I pulled items from the basket and handed her a sandwich. The one thing about Lacey is she ate, which pleased me. I prefer the women in my life to eat. I couldn't stand it when a woman refused. Why starve a body when it needs nourishing? I never understood the concept.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked with confusion.

"The fact you're eating makes me happy," I spoke with a hint of seductiveness to my voice.

"Food is amazing. Without it, the world becomes unwelcoming," Lacey teased. I gave her a look, arching my eyebrow while she giggled.

"So, you mock me?" I looked at her.

"Well, you are watching me eat, which isn't weird," she replied as I rolled my eyes. "Vincent, I learned to savor food after living in a homeless shelter and becoming an escort. Most of the time, the clients took me to the finest restaurants. It spoils you from eating junk food. You prefer a decent meal over some overprice slop," she remarked as I listened to her.

"I agree. I detest horrible food with the lack of flavor," I spoke as I ate.

"You detest many things I noticed. Why?"

"Being in the business world, you see things you despise. You notice people's behavior, their crude way of thinking, how they crush you, and many more. The business world isn't pretty. You learn to become cold and callous," I explained to her.

"Don't you ever feel lonely?"

Her question caught me off guard. No one had ever asked me that.

"Does it matter?" I questioned her, knowing it doesn't.

"Yes, it does," she stated as a matter of fact. I was becoming agitated by her questions. I didn't enjoy someone questioning me about feelings or emotions.
