Few weeks later,

'HyunJae ah, your cousin is going to give us a visit today, he's going to stay here for a few days before going back to Australia.' my dad informed me.

'Oh yea?!' I get excited.

'Yes dear, go and tidy up the house now will ya?' my dad said.

'OK dad!' I replied.

*I got a cousin, his name is Park DaeHyun. He is my dad's older brother's only son. He is
3 years older than me. He always treat me like his little sister since childhood but soon his father sent him abroad to further his study and we haven't meet each other since then. That's why I got really excited hearing from dad that he's coming to visit us today*

After tidy up the house,

'HyunJae! He's here' my dad shouted from downstairs.

'Oppa!' I run downstairs to the front door.

'I miss you soooo much!' I said while running to him and hug him tightly. 🏃🏻‍♀️

'Haha, I miss you too my little HyunJae' 💕 DaeHyun said while hugging me back.

'Alright let's help your cousin to bring the luggage inside' my dad ordered.

'OK dad' I said and help DaeHyun carry his bag.

'Thank you HyunJae' he thanked.

That afternoon,

'Today we'll eat Korean homemade BBQ' my dad said.

'Wow! Thanks dad, can I ask Jin to join us? 👏' I asked.

'Sure hun' my dad replied.

Chat

Me: We're eating Korean BBQ today, wanna join us?

Jin: typing....

Me: Wanttt?

Jin: OK

'Yay he's coming! ☺️'

'Who's coming? You looked so happy' 🙂 DaeHyun asked.

'Jin, he's our new neighbour' I said.

'Ouh...'

Few moments later,

'Coming!' I said.

I open the door for Jin.

'Hi there!' 🙋🏻‍♀️ I greet.

'Hey'👋🏻he replied.

'You're lucky to have the chance trying my dad homemade BBQ meat and kimchi' I said.

'Haha yea..thank you for inviting me today uncle' Jin thanked.

'HyunJae ah where's the plate?' DaeHyun asked from inside the kitchen.

'Eh? Who's that?' Jin ask me.

'Oh I forgot to introduce..come with me' I dragged Jin with me to the kitchen.

'Oppa, let me introduce, this is Jin that I've said before. He's the new neighbour living next door and Jin, this is DaeHyun my cousin' 😊 I introduced.

'Nice to meet you' DaeHyun greet with a handshake.

'Me too' Jin replied.

'Oh HyunJae you gotta help me with this, sorry ah..Jin right? I need HyunJae's help' DaeHyun said and pull me into his arm and walk to the kitchen.

'Eh??' 🤷🏻‍♀️ I confused.

'Ok' Jin said.

After all the food had been prepared, finally we can eat.

'Ahh so hungry'

'Let's dig in' 😁 DaeHyun said.

'Enjoy your meal kids' my dad said and Jin nodded.

While eating,

Jin's POV

'Jin this meat is delicious! Try some?' HyunJae asked.

'OK..' I agreed.

Just after one bite...

*Shhhhh~it's too spicy! Need water ASAP*🥵 Oh there's water prepared on the table. *
