"Liam!" I yelled,tears streaming down my face. He looked up at me and his eyes grew 10 times larger. I held him tightly, sobbing into his shoulder.
"I th-thought you were..." I studdered.
"I know." He said, hugging me back.
"So, I'm guessing you know this guy..." The blondie said. I finally release him from my tight grip and looked at his face. His blue eyes were as wet as mine and his cheeks were bright red.
"I missed you so much." I said,not quite trusting my voice.
"I missed you, too." He said hugging me once more.
"Where have you been?" I said once I've finally calmed myself.
"Hiding-trying to stay alive...I was planning on hiding forever." I watched as he took a seat at a nearby chair. "but as I ran out of food I knew I couldn't stay hidden. The moment I stepped out...I saw what the world had become-" He sniffled and cleared his throat. "These guys found me trying to run away from some monsters." He says gesturing at duo that met us at the entrance of the park.
"I'm Louie and this is Zoelle." The boy said waving along with girl.
"You guys said the cube could help -how exactly?" Asked Reece with a skeptical glance at me.
