-Forgiveness/Meeting-
The boys looked at each other, neither of them saying a word. Ethan couldn't muster up a sentence nor a word to say to his twin brother. Seconds pass like minutes before Grayson finally gets up wiping his eyes sniffling. Ethan pulls his brother into a tight hug and he breaks down against his brother.
"I'm sorry Grayson, I should have known better to just go to you when I needed to talk instead of keeping it all in. I'll do better, I promise" he says in a soft voice knowing if he spoke any louder his voice would crack when talking to his brother.
"I will always be here for you Ethan. No matter what happens." Grayson says rubbing Ethan's back pulling away a little bit.
"I wont close you out, I'm sorry for thinking that it would help me"
The brothers hug just a bit longer before pulling away slowly and they offer each other small smiles and Grayson breaks the silence.
"Hey, do you want to go get some food from In and Out?"
Ethan nods "Yeah. I'm starving, just let me go get a sweatshirt"
"I'll be in the car then" Grayson says pulling away fully and heads down the hall towards the front door.
Ethan goes back into his room his eyes linger on the center of his room before he goes to his closet the orange sweatshirt that he had let the girl wear was laying on top of the white dresser, his hand goes to hold it feeling the coldness in the material. He was intrigued because that sweatshirt had been in the warm house for almost an hour yet it was still cold. He drops it back on top of the dresser.
"It wasn't real" he mumbles pulling a dark red sweatshirt from a hanger pulling it on over his head and then running his fingers through his hair to fix it. As he left the room he just felt like he had no energy left in his body, yet he walked out to Grayson's small black Porsche. There was light traffic so they had to stop a lights a lot time seemed to blur as they drove through the city and Ethan would find himself falling asleep at times without even realizing it. Grayson did realize the change in his brothers energy and he played some up beat music since it was only six and his brother was going to fall asleep. His brother before the party would have unlimited energy, making it sometimes nearly impossible to get him to even calm down and he would be up until three am trying to get Grayson to party with him. Ethan's version of 'party' was either having a pool party, jamming to music or playing Fortnite. He watched as his brother started to nod his head to the music, it made Grayson feel a bit better about his low energy.
Once at the restaurant the two went inside since they didn't seem to be busy, once in they order the same thing they get every time and sat down after getting their drinks. Ethan looks out the window watching cars drive by zoning out.
"Are you okay to work tomorrow?" Grayson asks looking up from his phone to Ethan, the older twin looks from the window and nods.
"Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem. It's just because I need to take my medicine that is all" Ethan says monotonous, he sip on his sugary drink and he could feel some energy coming back to him and he just continued to drink it. Grayson was glad that his brother was able to come to realize that his medicine is meant to help him not harm him.
Once the food got to their table that was when Ethan realized that he was really starving. He seemed to have eaten the burger in less than five minutes and chugged his large soda in the time as well. He had to pause eating to go get more to drink leaving his brother in a small shock because Ethan was the one to take his time to eat. Once back sitting he goes to finish his fries and he looks up to Grayson watching him with a confused expression.
