-Fate-

The rest of the time all Ethan could think about was Emma and he was beginning to hate himself for not getting her number. Because he knew living in LA that it would be less likely to see her again. As they finished getting everything they needed they headed to check out, Ethan was spacing out a bit as he helped his brother laid things from the cart onto the convert belt that was moving towards the employee who was checking out their items. He began to day dream about the girl he had just met and it was crazy to think that he would ever see her again, but she had this positive energy, an energy that he needed in his life right now.

"Ethan, come on" Grayson says pulling him from his thoughts as he was ready to do. Ethan felt his face get red as he pushed the cart following his brother out to the car. There had been some people behind them waiting and he felt bad for standing their like an idiot.

"Sorry, was caught up in my thoughts again" Ethan says once they were unloading things into the trunk. His brother paused looking to hi before he continued to put the things in the trunk before he spoke up.

"I was starting to get worried that you were thinking about-" Grayson gets cut off by Ethan.

"I wasn't thinking about that, if you don't bring it up I will be fine"

Grayson nods before Ethan closes the trunk and he grabs the cart going to take it to one of the cart stations in the parking lot, when he looks up from the ground his mood instantly dropped as he say the girl and he cautiously walks over. He puts the cart in the area and tries to leave but, the girl grabs his arm and that feeling of something holding him down fell on his shoulders again. Her hand wasn't as cold as the first time that he had come into contact with her. He turns looking back at her and his heart was racing trying to figure out what she wanted from him.

"I want you to stay away from her" she says softly but sternly and he furrows his eyebrows together.

"Who even are you?" He asks and she lets go of his arm and looks behind Ethan, he turns around seeing his brother getting out of the car while looking over at him. Ethan looks back only for the girl to be gone.

"Ethan, are you alright?" He says loud enough that he could hear him from the distance between them. Ethan turns and heads back to the car.

"I'm fine" he lies getting in and once in the car he sighs the guilt building up in his chest again. Once they were out of the parking lot Ethan speaks up "I'm not fine. I don't think it's my medicine, I think I am being haunted by something."

"By what?" Grayson asks his eyes sliding over to his brother, generally confused but concerned for his brother.

"That girl from the bridge, I think we might have to do some research tomorrow after I get home from work" he says tiredly yawning, Grayson noticed that his bothers energy had went down again after he told him about seeing the girls. He thought he would tire him out so that he could stay up late researching without Ethan. Once home the two unload everything in the kitchen and work together to put it all away, before they leave the kitchen Grayson offers to play a few rounds of Fortnite with Ethan. That instantly made his mood go up and it made Grayson smile seeing how doing something so little like playing his favorite video game would make his brother happy like a toddler.

Ethan knew that his brother was only playing Fortnite to make him feel better, but he really did appreciate his brother for doing it. But he could only play for an hour before he couldn't keep his eyes open any longer and he had to get at least some sleep before work. Grayson helps him by turning off his computer and things and putting his room back together.

"My door will be open if you need anything" Grayson says before he left the room.

"Thanks Gray," he says as he was grabbing pajamas "Night"
