-Ghostly Pete-

Once Ethan had left Grayson let out a long breath, he did not think that the whole wallet situation would have gone so smoothly. He was the one who had taken Ethan's wallet while he was showering and he did not have time to put it back, so that was what led to him putting the wallet in the center console of his brothers Jeep. The reasoning that he had taken the wallet was to put Sage in it, he had to hide it well otherwise when he paid for dinner he would see it and throw it out.

Pete's flight had been delayed by two hours, but he had messaged him saying that he was on his way now and Grayson was hoping could be the answer to all of their problems, there were a few loud noises from the kitchen that caught his attention, he grabs the bat that they had next t the front door and started to go to the kitchen slowly, he regretted leaving the comfort of his room when he got closer to the dark kitchen. When he flicks on the light to the kitchen he was hoping it was either an animal or a person in the kitchen, he didn't want to face anything supernatural. When he peeks his head into the kitchen there was no one to be seen, but each drawer and cabinet was opened and the clocks were frozen on

He looks around then that was when he noticed that there was a dark silhouette in the dining room and it seemed to hide itself in the corner, as he begins to focus his eyes it was apparent that it was a girl but before he could move towards her there were three sharp knocks on the front door. Grayson eyes that were pinned to the girl he flinched away and he backed out of the kitchen heading to the front door. Through the glass front door he could see a younger looking boy with bleached blonde hair and was wearing black jeans, a white shirt a green flannel was tied around his waist and over his shoulders was a grey jean jacket. He had a white book bag around his shoulder and a grey suitcase by his legs, he looks up from his phone when Grayson unlocked and opened the door.

"Gray?" he asks his green eyes looking up at Grayson since he was a few inches shorter, his accent was thick.

"Yes, you must be Pete then?" Grayson asked, the boy nodded in return, he then opened the door letting the boy in.

He watches as Pete looks around "She's here" he mumbles more to himself and he follows Pete to the kitchen, the cabinets and drawers were closed but the clocks were still frozen to the time. 

Pete gets out a small note book writing down the time and circling it. "Where is your brother?""He's out on a date"

"Do you know when he'll be back?"

"He didn't say"

"I'd cleanse the house but the more we push off getting rid of her the stronger she gets and the harder it will be to get rid of her in the long run. We need to figure out why she killed herself in the first place and see if we get her to rest in peace, then it wont be too bad for us"

"And if she doesn't?"

"Then we will have to force her to detach from your brother but, lets not think about it"

Grayson looks over at Pete with narrowed eyes "If it could result in hurting my brother, wee need to come up with a plan in case she doesn't go away nicely"

Pete puts his hands up "Hey, i'm on your side no need to get upset, its just that nothing has gone wrong before, I've just never had to worry about it"

"But you do know what to do if something were to go wring, right?"

Pete hums setting his bag down and unzipping it getting out black and white candles setting them up on the table in the living room. "We can only start when your brother comes back"

"His name is Ethan, and I haven't told him that we were coming yet, I didn't want to ruin his date"

"Well, that is unfortunate because the nights going to go down hill" Pete says seriously as e pulls out a book from his bag.

They had to wait until ten thirty to hear Ethan's car pull into the driveway. When he comes in he was whistling to his favorite song and twirling his key. Each step he got closer the living room Grayson grew nervous. When Ethan came into the living room his whistle cut off and a confused expression made its way onto his face when he saw Grayson with someone else and there were candles and things in the living room.

"Hey Gray, whats going on?"

"Hey E, uh this is Pete and he's here to help"

Ethan looks between Grayson and Pete "You let a complete stranger into out house?""E. we need to get rid of her"

He felt his chest tighten when he realized what Grayson was talking about, of course he has a great night with Emma, he knew the voice in the back of his head was right, there and to be a catch to the whole good universe vibe. "What a great way to end the night, thanks Grayson" Ethan says aggression filled in his voice, which in turn made his brother uncomfortable because Ethan was never like that with him unless it was in a playful manner. The room got colder and a dark shadow moved over and behind Ethan.

"Ethan you just have to trust me on this" Grayson says pleading with his brother who had a frustrated expression on his face.

"I want him out Grayson" He snaps at her brother, he felt anger pushing through his veins. He was over reacting for no reason.

"She feeding off the negative and controlling it" Pete says staring at Ethan "Let me help you get rid of her E"

Ethan's dark brown eyes pinned on Pete "Do not call me that"

"Ethan stop it" Grayson snaps softly "We want to help you so stop being so stubborn"
"I want him out" Ethan whines "get him out"

"You need the help and she's preventing you from letting me help you, I am here to help you. Your brother is scared of loosing you Ethan that is why he brought me here"

Ethan's facial expression softens "is that true, Gray?"

Grayson nods "Ethan, I'm so scared. You're not you anymore and I don't want to loose you"

"kill them" her soft voice says in his ear and his heart stops and he turns around and she wasn't there "kill them"

"No" he says to her while trying to find her and he looks back at them "Did you hear that?"

"What?" Grayson asks

"You two aren't safe, I can't risk hurting you two"

"I can hold up my own" Pete says while grabbing out some crystals setting them on the table

"You don't know what she is capable of"

Grayson could hear the fear in Ethan's voice which made him nervous, he looks to Pete who was just sitting unaffected by what Ethan said.

"Trust me, I know what I am doing. nothing bad will happen"

Little did they know that he would be so wrong.
