Joining the team

Shift's POV
I was on my way to Echo's school when I was stopped by that motorcycle that could be another autobot. I follow them out of the town in a secluded spot. We both transform and look at each other. "I was looking for you." I say with a smile. The femme looked confused. "I had this feeling that I wasn't the only one on Earth." I explain. "We had a life signal that you were near. Where you spotted by anyone?" She asks "yes. I have but not at first." I start "The girl's name is Echo, she was about to be taken by a decepticon." I say, she looked annoyed for a second but then relaxed when she heard I saved her. "Did she tell anyone about you?" She demands. "No" I state. "That's good, after you pick her up you need to follow me and the other back to base." She demands. "Got it" I say slightly annoyed. She was treating this as if it's the end of the world. But understandable, we are in danger. So after that she goes to this so called 'base' while I wait outside the school for Echo. It's been a few days since we met but I can tell she isn't the type to purposely get on someone's nerves. There is an hour left I believe but I have nothing better to do and the femme told me it would be best to come with Echo.
An hour later the femme and I'm guessing a few of her team came as the students came out. Echo along with a girl with pink and black hair were the last to exit. Echo looked annoyed while the other girl looked sheepish. "Echo tell your mom your going somewhere." I told her as I started to follow the others. She looked confused but did as told. Soon we start driving to a rock formation. "Um. Shift?" I could hear the nervousness in her voice. "Don't worry kid, this is the base for the autobots I presume." I said as an entrance opens up allowing access. Echo started calming down after but she was still tense. We soon enter a large room with the others.
Echo exits and I transform studying the others "another autobot!? Awesome!" Said the pink and black haired girl. "And another human." Grumbled a red and white bot, most likely the medic of the team.
After meeting everyone Echo and I were more comfortable in this new space. I could tell Echo was more uncomfortable with more autobots. Seeing Echo with the other kids I just then realized how short she is. She isn't the shortest but still only about a foot taller then Raf. "Where did you move from, Echo?" Jack asked "And why did your parents name you Echo?" Miko asked/yelled. "I moved from North Carolina and my parents were both really interested in Greek mythology so they named me after the nymph(please correct me if I'm wrong .-.) who is cursed to repeat the last things people say." She said standing stoic. "Ugh. That stuff is boring!" Miko said. Echo only smiled. "I find it kinda interesting." I say "What other things are you interested in?" Arcee asked. "I like a lot of things but mostly poetry or any other type of writing." Echo states thoughtfully.
