I began telling Shift and anyone who would really listen about the complexity of Shakespeare and Edgar Allen Poe and how dark they are. "You seem to be highly educated in literature." Optimus said. I blush slightly but smile. "Yeah but not as much as them. Heck Shakespeare was a playwright and actor along with a poet. He produced over 20 plays in just 20 short years." I said rambling. I'm glad I'm not boring them. "Didn't you tell me you have some poems of your own?" Shift asks. I nod. "Yes but their still in a rough draft." I state. "I think you would be a better ELA teacher then the one at Memorial High." Jack says chuckling. "No I wouldn't. I wouldn't be able to handle as many people without having a panic attack. Also I prefer silence over yelling or talking." I say sitting on the couch next to Raf.
After that Raf and Jack fell asleep leaving me and the bots awake. Them doing what ever they pleased and I reading. I hadn't realized it yet but I had gotten my journal out and began brainstorming ideas for my next poems and stories. "Whatcha writing down over there?" Wheeljack asked. Looking up blankly I state: "ideas." I then look back down at my book ignoring the laugh of which came from Ratchet. I soon fall asleep pen still in hand. Everyone except Ratchet went to recharge.

Third person POV:
Curiosity got the better of the old medic as he looked over to see the silent girl asleep. He dared not say it out loud but he was glad someone was curious about what he does and seems so interested in it. He also liked how Echo was the opposite of the other kids, who here also asleep. Getting more curious of that she had written he transformed and went into his holoform. Climbing the stairs to see she had moved to the sound of him transforming, leaving the book open for taking. Being careful he took the book and flipped to the beginning and began reading. It wasn't just a journal for stories and poems, it was a book with a few science experiments that he had never heard of before. Flipping though the pages he finds the one she had fallen asleep while writing:
' Grievance
how curiously we have not yet found why
we humans experience it when we lost someone so dear.
Dear Father how I miss thou
Do you hear when I cry?
Do you hear when I laugh?
Do you feel when I feel love?
The days feel long as other don't feel long enough'
Looking at the brown haired girl Ratchet felt pity.
She had lost her father. And now she was forced to leave the place she felt safest.

The next morning Ratchet was back to his normal form working. When Echo woke with Miko yelling in her ear telling her to wake up. Oh how the Japanese girl annoyed her, but Echo started to see the girl as a big sister she had never had.
