Laurens POV

Josh had messaged me the night before telling me he was taking me out today, and that I needed to dress casual and be ready by 9:50am. It was 8am, so I dragged myself out of bed. I walked downstairs, only having a couple slices of toast for breakfast. I sat at my kitchen table, humming as I scrolled through twitter, seeing that Dianne had tweeted something about her and Joe.
"Thats cute." I smiled, liking the tweet before continuing to scroll. I paused, getting a message from Josh.

Josh💞: Hey L, you up?
Lauren: Yeah, just having breakfast, then Ill shower.
Josh💞: Okay, Ill message you when Im on my way. Love you xx
Lauren: Love you too xx

I stood up, putting my plate in the dishwasher before walking back to my room. I grabbed some black ripped jeans, a flowy top and my leather jacket before walking to the bathroom. I put the clothes on the side before taking off my pyjamas, getting in the shower. I prefered taking cold showers. No real reason why, I just did. I guess it helped wake me up a little more. I washed my hair then washed my body before getting out, drying myself off before getting dressed. I walked into my room, sitting down and drying my hair before throwing it up into a ponytail. I didnt put on any makeup as Josh prefered me without any. I smiled, putting my phone and some money into my pocket. I smiled, walking downstairs, waiting for Josh to come and pick me up.

I jumped, hearing a knock at the door. I smiled, walking over and opening it.
"Hey." Josh smiled, leaning down and kissing me gently before pulling away.
"Hi." I said, taking his hand. I locked the door before walking to his car with him, sitting in the passenger seat. I connected my phone, scrolling through my playlist. "Where are we going?" I asked, putting on Youngblood.
"Thats a surprise." He said, holding my hand, only letting go when he needed to change gears.
"Thats not fair." I smiled, looking out the window.
"I know, but youll like it." He smiled, continuing to drive. We badly sung along to the songs that came on, however we didnt care. As long as we were laughing we were happy. He smiled, keeping his eyes on the road.
"I love you L." He said softly, taking a hold of my hand.
"I love you too." I smiled, looking over at him.

We soon got to our destination. Josh had decided to take me to Thorpe Park since I had mentioned wanting to go for such a long time. I smiled, practically running to the entrance, Josh going to buy the tickets. I waited in the line, going on my phone. I glanced up, seeing some teenagers looking at me in disgust.
"Why is her arm missing?" One of them whispered
"Because shes a freak. No wonder shes hear alone." Another one replied. They sniggered, walking over to me.
"Whats wrong with you?" One of them scoffed, pushing me. I stumbled back however balanced myself.
"Nothing wrong with her." Josh snapped, standing behind me. The teens looked up at him, gulping slightly. "So I suggest you kids stay away from her. Im sure your parents would love to hear about this if I ever saw them." He said.
"S-sorry!" They ran off. I sighed, turning round and hugging Josh.
"Its alright baby." He cooed, kissing my forehead.
"Thank you." I whispered.
"You know Id protect you." He rubbed my shoulder. I smiled, soon being allowed in. We headed straight towards 'saw: the ride' since it was near the back of the park. I smiled, running through the line, pulling Josh along with me.
"Slow down!" He laughed. We sat at the front, the ride attendants checking to make sure we were in the seats properly. I smiled, seeming rather calm through the ride. Josh and I laughed most of the way round, everyone else on the ride screaming. We soon got off, walking to where we could see the pictures.
"Can we get it?" I asked Josh.
"If you want." He kissed my forehead, getting the picture for me. I smiled, carrying round the bag with me.

We ended our day by going to a McDonalds near Thorpe Park. I smiled, finishing my Mcflurry as we walked to the car.
"Today was fun." I said, looking up at Josh.
"Im glad you enjoyed it."
