*Y/N POV*

I let out an audible sigh and looked down to my hands. I had feelings for one more of my closest friends and I don't know how to tell him. That friend is Benjamin Tallmadge. He's just so perfect. Perfect face, perfect personality and an amazing ass. I just don't think he would ever have feelings for me because we've been friends for so long. I heard the flap of my tent open and looked only to see Ben. Wow, isn't this so great. The person I have feelings for who definitely doesn't feel the same is here. "Hello Y/N." "Oh, hi Ben." I put on a fake smile so that he wouldn't suspect anything, but I felt like it was extremely obvious. "Are you okay? You seem a little upset." Ben said. Well fuck I was right, it was obvious. I spoke up, "Oh, I'm not feeling well." "Well I'll come back later I guess." Ben said.

*Ben POV*

I walked out of Y/N's tent. Something was definitely off, but I couldn't tell what was wrong with her. She just seemed so unhappy and I doubt that she was actually sick. But I don't know why she would lie to me like that. The girl I love is lying to me and I don't know why. Suddenly a horrible thought struck me. What if she had feelings for somebody else? I was planning on confessing my feelings to her tonight, but if she has feelings for another than I shouldn't even try. I sighed and out my head in my hands what was I going to do?

*Y/N POV*
I feel like I messed up, like a lot. I should've just told him then and there. He looked really upset when he walked out. He definitely knew I was and he was definitely upset about it. I feel worse than before. I know what I must do. I had to go find him. I ran out of my tent and began my search. I turned sharp corners and almost tripped over my own feet multiple times, but soon I was able to see him in the distance. I began to call out for him, "BEN, HEY OVER HERE. I NEED YOUR ATTENTION RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT." Ben turned around and shot me a confused look, but he started walking towards me. "Y/N, I thought you said you weren't feeling well." I finally reached and by that point I was out of breath, "I- that was a lie, I thought you would have known it was a blatant lie." Ben laughed a bit, "I did know. I was just wondering if you were going to attempt to keep up the lie of finally tell the truth." My face went red, "Oh, okay great to know that you can spot a liar." "Sooo..." "So, what?" "Are you going to tell the truth Y/N or are you going to leave me in the dark?"

I took in a deep breath and soon put my thoughts into words, "Ben I have feelings for you and I have for the longest time. I just didn't know if I should tell you about these feelings since we've known each other for so long. I also didn't know whether or not you shared these feelings, and I still don't know if you share these feelings." Ben was silent for the what felt like the longest time, "Ben are you going to say something?" "What? Oh yes, sorry. I got lost in my thoughts." Ben took my hands into his, "Y/N I have had feelings for you for the longest time. I was going to confess to you tonight, but after our encounter in your tent I was under the speculation that you did not share these feelings." I stared at Ben in disbelief, "How could you not tell? My feelings were literally so obvious, practically everyone in the camp knows about them. I love you, you idiot." In that moment I put my hands on Ben"s face and pulled him to me. Our lips connected and it felt so unreal, I couldn't believe that this was actually happening. Ben put his hands on my waist and pulled me deeper into the kiss. Finally we needed to pull away for air. "Wow..." I said. I was still in shock that I kissed Ben and he kissed back. Ben looked down to me, "I'm so happy you share these feelings." We embraced each other, this was amazing.
