It took us awhile but we finally agreed to one idea. Now all we have to do is actually do it. It's fairly simple, but knowing Blake and I, we'll probably screw it up. Worse come to worse, I do run away with Blake.

I texted Brad an hour before letting him know that I wanted to hangout with him. He said that was fine since we hadn't really had any time together recently. I know this wouldn't be his reaction if I said I wanted to have a chat with him.

"Hey, Brad! I'm home!" I yell into the empty house.

"I'll be down in a second!" A voice comes from upstairs.

I turn to Blake who's face has noticeably gotten pale. "You'll be okay. It will all be alright," I peck him on the lips to assure him. He nods, but I don't believe that he's actually okay.

Footsteps make the stairs creak, meaning Brad is making his way down. He stops the moment he sees Blake.

He points at Blake, "What is he doing here? Is this some twisted joke?"

"No, let me explain," I calmly state, not trying to anger the bear.

"Oh, I'd love to hear this one, Harper!" He rolls his eyes and plops down next to me. "This better be good or I won't hesitate to bet you, Richardson!" Brad snarls. Wow, someone has gone into overprotective mode.

I clear my throat and say, "Now, here us out. I think this will be better coming from Blake, but please just listen Brad! That's all I'm asking for!" He mutters a "fine" and signal Blake to begin.

He looks down at his lap before explaining the story. I think Brad can tell that he's nervous. Finally, Blake speaks up, "I know you have this hatred for me, and I would hate myself if I were you."

"Well, you're already off to a great start!" Brad laughs.

"You didn't let me finish. The story you heard was a complete lie. I never kissed Lauren. Hell, I didn't even dream about doing that. I saw her crying one day and asked what was wrong. She complained on and on about you. She told me you cheated on her and I comforted her. I was about to leave when she forced herself on me. Not once, did I kiss her. Next thing I know, she reversed the story and told you," Blake explains to Brad.

Brad has a blank stare, almost like he's trying to process everything. I become very anxious while waiting for his response.

"How could I be so stupid! That girl loves drama! Of course she would say that! I'm so sorry, mate!" Brad leans over to give Blake a hug. Blake looks confused at first but then rolls with it.

"So we're all good now?" I ask. The two boys look at each other and nod. Thank goodness that didn't go wrong.

I think I'm going to have a few more chapters and then an epilogue but I'm still undecided
