Chapter Four

            When the skiff came to a stop the Rebels were at old Ben’s home, where Luke’s X-Wing, Emily’s ship and the Millennium Falcon awaited. Han’s vision slowly came back to him he looked over at Leia and Emily who were still dressed as Jabba’s slaves. Slowly Solo cracked a smile at the two women.

“Don’t you look gorgeous!” he said pulling Leia in for a kiss, after the two’s lips separated he turned to look over at Emily. “You don’t look so bad yourself, kid.” Han said with a wink. Emily hated nothing more than being hit on by Han.

“In your dreams, always knew you’d one day get caught Solo.” Emily said laughing a bit at Han.

“Hey, I was on my way to pay Jabba back, I promise.” Han said getting closer to Emily’s face. “Besides Bendal, you owe me, I’ve saved your skin so many times that I’ve seriously lost track of how many times I’ve actually have saved you.”

“Thirteen Solo, that’s how many times you’ve saved me. You missed it back at the palace, I spit on Jabba.” Emily said crossing her arms in amusement, a smile crept upon Solo’s face as he gave her a hug.

“Geez kid, I think you’ve been around me too long it’s starting to rub off on you.”  Han said as he turned back to Leia smiling. He turned to Luke who seemed to have a glare of jealously in his eyes, Han smiled. “Hey junior, don’t worry I’m not trying to steal your girl.” Luke started to blush, Emily started to smile herself.

            Han, Leia, Chewie, 3P0, and Lando all boarded the Falcon. Once they were all aboard they started the engine. Emily walked over to Luke she could sense where he was headed. “I’m going with you Skyguy. And don’t you try to stop me, he’s my Master to you know, I have the right to see him before he leaves.”

Luke nodded “I understand, now go get in your ship Han’s waiting for us.” Luke said as he gave his Padawan a push towards her ship. After Emily had turned her engine on Luke hopped into his X-Wing with R2. All three ships took off at the same time leaving the atmosphere of Tatoonie, Emily and Luke went in one direction while Han went into the other.

“I’ll meet you back at the fleet.” Luke said over his comlink to the Falcon.

A respond soon came back from Leia “Hurry. The Alliance should be assembled by now.”  

“I will.” Luke said smiling then looking over towards Emily’s ship.

Once again Luke’s comlink turned on with a voice, this time it was not Leia it was Han. “Hey, Luke, thanks. Thanks for coming after me. Now I owe you one.” Luke laughed as the comlink buzzed as Solo’s voice faded away.

R2 let out a series of beeps and whistles showing his translations on Luke’s X-Wing’s screen. He cracked a smile “That’s right, R2. We’re going to the Dagobah system.” Luke picked up a black glove and pulled it onto his artificial hand, covering up the blaster shot. R2 once more let out whistles and beeps, questioning the reason for going to the system.

”I have a promise to keep to an old friend.” Luke then turned his attention back to Emily who was now ahead of him. Suddenly Luke’s comlink turned on once more, this time it was Emily, a voice Luke loved hearing over his comlink.

“Hey Skyguy, I’ll see you in a few. Try not to get us into anymore trouble on the way there. Yet, don’t even get us in trouble once we reach Dagobah.” Emily then slowed down so that he could catch up with her.

“I’ll try not to.” Luke said laughing as the two ships approached Dagobah, Luke’s first encounter here had been with a crash landing this time he landed perfectly next to Emily’s ship. Once she hopped out Luke fought the urge to run and hug her. He watched as she took her helmet off releasing her blonde hair, he smiled.
