AMELIAS POV
Owen was the cutest. I was sitting across from him and I smiled. He smiled back and I just fell in love with his smile.
"Did you watch the Steelers game last night?" I asked because I knew he definitely did.
"Did you?" He chuckled.
"I mean some of it," I chuckled, "Bailey wanted me to watch it with them."
"So who won?" He chuckled.
"I didn't get that far," I chuckled.
"The Steelers won," he said.
"Is that good or bad?" I asked.
"They were expected to win," he shrugged.
"Gotcha," I said.
"You watch any other sports on occasion," he chuckled.
"Um," I said, "no." We both laughed and he smiled. It was going to be a good date.
-
I was actual nervous for nothing. The date went amazing, we talked the whole time about so many different things. Owen was such a good person to talk to. We were walking out of the restaurant and he grabbed my hand as we were walking which was cute. I walked closer to him and he smiled. He was so cute.
OWENS POV
The date was amazing. She's amazing. We talked about sports, work, and everything else. She's perfect. We were walking out to my car and I reached over and grabbed her hand and she smiled. She walked closer to me and I smiled. I was so happy that this date went so well because I was so nervous. I kissed her head as we got to my car and I opened the door for her.
"Thanks," She said. I smiled and got in on the drivers side. I couldn't stop smiling.
"Can I turn the radio on?" Amelia chuckled.
"Yeah sure," I chuckled. A popular song came on and Amelia smiled.
"I love this song," she said.
"Yeah me too it's pretty good," I said.
"Sing it with me you won't," she chuckled.
"Well you see I don't sing," I chuckled.
"Oh come on me either," she chuckled, and as the chorus came on we were both screaming the lyrics and jamming out all the way home. I pulled into her driveway just as the song ended.
"You're a pretty good singer," I said.
"You too," she said. We got out and I walked around and put my arm around her.
"This was a really good first date Owen," she smiled, "thank you."
"Well thank you for saying yes," I chuckled. She smiled and we stopped on her porch. I leaned forward and kissed her softly. She pulled me closer to her and I wrapped my arms around her waist. When I pulled away she giggled cutely and I kissed her forehead.
"Goodnight cutie," I said.
"Goodnight," She said cutely as she blushed. I smiled as she walked inside Derek and Meredith's house. Tonight went so perfect.
-
I unlocked my front door and Sophia and Olivia came running to the door.
"How was it!" Sophia said and jumped in my arms.
"It was good," I chuckled.
"Did you kiss her?" Olivia asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"Ooooh," They both said.
"Shut up," I chuckled.
"And that's because you wore the blue shirt and not the green one," Olivia said, "thanks to me of course."
"Yes thanks to you," I chuckled and hugged her. My mom came out of the kitchen with a magazine and a cup of coffee and smiled.
"It was good?" She asked.
"Yeah," I said, "I'm going to go put them to bed and I'll be back down in a minute."
"Okay," she smiled. I walked upstairs with the girls and Olivia went to shower and I tucked Sophia in bed.
"Goodnight babygirl," I said and kissed her forehead.
"Goodnight Daddy!" She said and hugged me. I grabbed her stuffed bear and tucked it in with her.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," she said.
"And mommy loves you very much," I said, which was something we started saying when she was really little when Anna died.
"And I love mommy too," she said. I smiled and kissed her head. I turned her night light on and closed her door. I came into Olivia's room and she was in bed watching tv.
"10?" She asked.
"Yes only because it's Saturday," I said.
"So your date went well?" She smiled.
"Yes," I said, "it did."
"That's good," she said.
"Yeah," I said, "Well good night, 10 o'clock"
"Yup Goodnight I love you," she said.
"I love you too," I said and closed her door.
