Did you miss me? [ON HOLD]

Chapter 10

Elijah pours all of us a glass of bourbon. "Alright, Mikaelson clan. I have good news, and bad news." I look at Klaus with a worried expression. He squeezes my hand to try and reassure me. "As you all know, Elena and I have been together for quite some time. We decided to get married in Asia about 1 year ago." Elena then showed Kat, Bekah, Bonnie, and I her ring.
"OMG! Elena why didn't you tell us?!" We all squealed like little girls.
"You'll see." Elena replied.
Elijah cleared his throat and continued with his speech. "As I was saying, there's bad news as well. After the reception, a witch pulled Elena and I to the side. She told us about a new threat that was trying to get the witches to work against the Mikaelson family. She couldn't tell me much, but she did tell me that they were powerful and had an army and to protect the littlest ones. At first, I was confused by what she said. Then I realized, the 3 little ones have to be Hope, Lizzie, and Remi." Klaus squeezed my hand tighter. "Caroline, Klaus. I do not know what the threat is, but we will put them to rest."
Klaus stood up with a dark expression on his face. Uh oh. Here comes the big bad hybrid. "I appreciate the heads up, brother. But did you not say you got this news over a year ago!?" He yelled.
"Yes, Niklaus. You have to understand though. I checked up everyday on you and the girls to make sure nothing was wrong. I followed all the leads I could find and they were all a dead end. As far as I was concerned, the witch told me a bunch of rubbish."
Rebekah then steeped in, "Witches are bloody wanker. No offense Bon Bon."
"None taken, Bekah."
Klaus then poured himself another glass and threw it into a wall. "Elijah! My daughters could have been at risk and you didn't even bother to mention it to us!"
"Klaus," I said. "Calm down please. You're gonna wake the girls up." I grabbed his hand. At first, he resisted. Then he gave in and calmed down. I took him upstairs and we watched the girls sleep. "See, Nik. They're okay. It might've not been the best choice for Elijah not to tell us, but they're okay. They're happy, we're happy." I said. He put his arm across my shoulder and we stayed there watching the girls sleep. So precious. Everyone went to bed and then Klaus and I were left alone. We moved the girls in the middle of the bed, and we both laid down on each side. When we laid down, Hope cuddled up with Klaus. Lizzie cuddled up with me. Remi was so tired and she wasn't even phased by all the
movement. We fell asleep like that. The most important people in the world to me, all in one bed. Ahh, how it warmed my heart.

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!! I'll get more into the threat next chapter. I still haven't thought of something creative yet. Anyways I wanted this chapter to be about Klaus and Caroline and their ability to calm each other down and their girls. Hope you enjoyed!
