Did you miss me? [ON HOLD]

Chapter 13

The next morning, Caroline was the first one up. She made the girls chocolate pancakes, their favorite. She made eggs, biscuits, bacon, and also made waffles. She didn't know why, but she just felt in the mood to make everyone breakfast. She also warmed up a couple blood bags for everyone. The Mikaelson's has maids that they usually fed on, but she forbid drinking from the vein in front of her girls. She went upstairs to each of the girl's rooms, and woke them up with kisses.
"Mommy, Mommy, stop!" Lizzie giggled.
"Come on, Lizzie! Mommy made us chocolate pancakes!" Remi yelled as she grabbed her sisters hand and drug her to the dining room. Hope was already downstairs, riding on Klaus's back.
"Nik, put the poor girl down for crying out loud." Kol said.
"Daddy! We want a ride." Lizzie and Remi said.
"How about you have your mother put both of you on my back! What do you think about that?" Klaus asked with a smile.
"Yes! Yes! Mommy help us!!" Remi squealed.
"Fine, fine. You better be careful with them." Caroline said, glaring at Klaus.
"Yes ma'am."
She picked up Lizzie, put her on Hope's back. Next, Remi was placed on top of Lizzie. Klaus r through the house carefully while the girls giggled with happiness. The girls ate their breakfast and went up to the playroom. Up there, they could do magic without burning the house down. Klaus and Caroline joined the girls and asked them about what happened when they were taken.
"Mommy it was so cool! The witch was trying to hurt us, but Remi and Lizzie just kept going! It hurt me, but then they grabbed my hand and I felt all better."
"Wait, sweetheart. Did you see a light coming off of the twins?" Klaus asked.
"Yea it was so cool!"
"Well I'm very proud of you girls!" Caroline said as she pulled her girls into a group hug and kissed their foreheads.
Klaus and Caroline rushed downstairs to let the others know. "So it seems as if the 'radiating light witchy voodoo stuff' that Caroline showed, well the girls have it too." (A/N: I know in the first chapter I said Caroline was a hybrid, but she was actually a vampire. She turned into a hybrid like Hayley did when she had Hope. Also, the twins are tribrids so even when they die and turn into vampires, they'll still have their magic.)
"That makes so much sense now." Bonnie said. Everyone in the room looked at her with a confused expression. "Okay, hear me out you guys. So when Caroline had the girls, their blood turned her into a hybrid, right?" Everyone nodded their heads and let Bonnie continue with her theory. "Since they have vampire blood, werewolf blood, and the Mikaelson witch line blood too, what if their blood gave the three of them this power? It sounds crazy just think about it."
"No, little witch, you might be onto something here." Kol replied. Kol and Bonnie continued to do their research, while Caroline went outside to train. Klaus followed her, as well as Elijah. Elijah came outside with one of his old witch friends.
"Caroline, how about we give this another try so we can test your power?" Elijah asked.
"Hell no!" Klaus replied as he stepped in front of Caroline. "I will not have this witch try and harm her."
"Niklaus. Nandi is my friend, if Caroline's power does not resist the magic and she gets harmed, I will personally make sure Nandi quits." Elijah replied.
"Klaus, it's fine. I'm a big girl, I can handle myself." Caroline said as she stepped in front of Klaus and smiled at him.
"Fine, have it your way. But I am not leaving."
Nandi quickly said a spell, but Caroline wasn't feeling a thing.
"Nandi, are you sure that was a spell? I literally don't feel a thing."
Nandi's face was like she saw a ghost. She had a wide shocked expression across her face, as did Klaus and Elijah.
"What is it you guys?" Caroline said.
Quickly, Klaus answered her question. "Caroline, love. You have this glow around you." He went to touch her, but was quickly thrown back by what it seemed as a barrier.
"It seems as Ms.Forbes, sorry. Caroline," Elijah said as he cleared his throat. "It seems that Caroline's 'light' protects her as well."
Nandi stopped her spell and pitched in. "This is amazing. Your 'light' protects you. It seems as if it is activated by magic, aka a witch trying to hurt you. As long as that spell is continuing towards you, you are basically untouchable. Have you seen this anywhere else?"
"My girls." Caroline said.
"Can we get them out here?"
"Are you out of your mind? No way am I bringing my babies out here." Caroline quickly replied.
"Caroline, I think we should." Elijah said. "Didn't Hope tell you that it already worked? They won't get hurt. I give you my word, if they get hurt, I will personally take the blame and you can do whatever to me."
"Ugh, I guess you're right. But if anything happens to them, I will personally make each of your lives a living hell." Caroline said while pointing to Elijah and Nandi.
Klaus grabbed the girls and took them outside to Caroline. Nandi quickly said a spell, and almost immediately, the three of them had an almost blinding light radiate off of them.
"Daddy come on." Lizzie said.
As Klaus was walking his way over to them, Caroline yelled. "Klaus wait!" By then, he was already standing by Lizzie. Klaus wasn't touching Lizzie, but he had the light radiating off of him as well.
"Klaus, it seems as if Lizzie is transferring her power onto you as well. Caroline, try focusing it  on Elijah." Nandi said.
Quickly, Elijah was in pain on the ground screaming. It abruptly stopped as Caroline focused her power on him. Soon, they were all strong and had light radiating on them. Nandi called Bonnie out there so she could increase her power and put Caroline's power to the test. Nandi siphoned some of Bonnie's magic and quickly increased her spell. In surprise, the light got stronger and quickly overpowered Nandi. She went flying into a wall. Caroline quickly rushed to her side to make sure she was okay. Nandi got up and declared that she was okay. Her and Bonnie went inside and tried to find out more about their new power.

Did you enjoy? I know that it is kind of boring, but I felt like I should elaborate more on Caroline's new power. In the next couple chapters, there will be a lot more action and drama!
