After tending to Charlie, Chibs and Phoebe head downstairs to the bike. He hands her a helmet, finishes his cigarette and swings a leg over the bike, holding out his hand to assist Phoebe on behind him. Smiling with joy she takes his hand, gets on and gets comfortable. She puts her tiny hands on his waist as he starts up the bike. He smiles, reaches down to her hands and brings them around to his front, "Ya need to hold on lass, it's not reckless, but ya need to hold on." She tightened her grip on his waist as he pulled out, causing him to smile even bigger, though she could not see him. He knew where he wanted to take her. He seen how she loved being outdoors and seems to like the quiet, He hoped she would love his adventure. He was loving her leaning up against him with her arms holding onto him. He wanted to be her protector, he knew he could be.

Phoebe was enjoying the ride, not much was said, Chibs led the way, he must have had a destination in mind, he knew were the curves were, he didn't ask her where she'd like to go, he just went and she just enjoyed the fresh air, warm sunshine and gentleness of the man she had chosen to spend the day with. And she prayed the day would end as well as it started, that she would feel no fear today. Leaving Charlie at home and allowing herself to go off with a strange man was something she had never done since having Charlie, since leaving her life behind, she prayed she would remain safe today.

There was no traffic now, no cars, they seemed to be in a very rural area, trees, nature, Phoebe almost lost herself here in the beauty of this natural area Chibs had brought her to. It's like he could read her mind, like he knew she'd love a place like this. Then her thoughts were, they were alone, how did she allow this to happen. Should she be afraid or was this a good thing? Life was so confusing to her now. Chibs slowed to a place she could see a river flowing by, the beautiful flowers blooming all around. If she must die, this would be her place this beautiful place he brought her to. But stop fearing and enjoy she told herself. Chibs rolled to a stop off the road. "Let's get off and walk and enjoy this place I found for you". 'For me' he said, he found this 'for me'. When and how, and why?

Phoebe took off her helmet, got off the bike as Chibs did as well. He reached into his side bag and grabbed out 2 water bottles handing her one. "You come prepared" Phoebe smiling up at him and took a huge needed drink of the cold water.

"That I did my lass, that I did" He took her hand and walked over to the river's edge. They sat down and Phoebe just looked around, the squirrels playing, the birds singing, the bees seeking their nectar, the sound of the water rumbling down the river's edge. She could lose herself here. She could write here. So many stories came to her mind as she looked around. A tear fell down her cheek as Chibs looked over at her.

He took her face in his hands, "Lass, I'm sorry, I thought you'd love this place, I'm so sorry"

"No Filip, it's not sadness, it's the beauty of it, the love of this place, the serenity of it, tears of joy, my Scott, tears of joy" She assured him.

He wiped them away as she smiled and leaned into his side, laying her head on his shoulder as he put his arm around her rubbing her arm. Thinking that he made her so happy at that moment that she cried for happiness and not sadness. He would win her over, he knew at that moment he could and he would stop at nothing to protect her and have her. Then he just realized, was he falling in love with a woman he had never kissed? Oh Holy Mother of Jesus, this woman had gotten to him before he said the word go. He knew he needed to talk to her, tell her more about who he was and hope that she would do the same.

"Phoebe, how much of me do you want to know about?" Holding her closely against him.

"Filip, only what you can, only tell me what you are comfortable with telling me, I will not push you into more, sometimes more takes time, sometimes things should come easy and slowly, others maybe more rushed, but only what you feel I should know at this time" "I'll not pressure you, I am patient" then a little laugh, "Unless you scare me with some horrific serial killer stuff, or you're a werewolf or vampire or something" Laughing.
