Chapter eighteen:
I woke up in the middle of the night and had to pee, I got up and went to the bathroom while I was washing my hands I put water on my face. I grabbed the towel and dab my face when I lifted my head up I saw someone in the mirror I hurried up and turned around.
"I told you... you made a big mistake"
The hands reached out at me and started choking me, I tried pushing them off of me and it wasn't working... I started to pass out.... next thing you know it just went black...
I started screaming
"Hey.. hey... it's okay it's just me... it's just me.. it was just a dream babygirl" Dar'Mel said looking at me
"If I don't finish the job that bitch will haunt me for the rest of my life" I said wiping the sweat off me forehead
"Is that really necessary" he said getting up off the bed
"Yes... it is that bitch is ruining my life and she has to go ASAP" I said
"Revenge is not always the answer" He said kissing my forehead
"I'm not gone have a nigga that's soft... you either with me or against me there's no in between" I said
As soon as he was about to respond the nurse and the surgical doctor walked in.
"We have some news" the nurse said
It was just quiet
"Well speak" I said
"Turns out you won't need surgery, it was someone else's scans and they got them mixed up.... so your bone wasn't sticking out your ankle was just badly swollen" the surgical doctor said
"So you mean to tell me I been sitting in here cooped up on medicine thinking I broke something and really it was just a sprain" I said looking at him like he was stupid
"That's correct" the doctor said
"Man I outta beat yo ass" I said
"Aye it's time for y'all to gets up outta here" Dar'Mel said
"Understood" The Doctor and the nurse started walking out
"Aye doc what's yo name" I said
"Dr.Sullivan" he said smirking at me
"Ight watch ya self" Dar'Mel said smirking
"Indeed"
The doc and the nurse walked out the room I got up and started to get dressed with Dar'Mels help.... I was really irritated because they had me all doped up on drugs. I gathered all my belongings and Dar'Mel helped me to the car we got in the car and he started driving off I noticed we was in a neighborhood I never seen before which was very odd so I told him to stop the car.
"Stop the car! Where are we going!?" I said kind of loudly
"I'm taking you to my house" he said looking at me
"No you not! Not with them raggedy ass cousin you got at yo house" i said with an eyebrow twitched up with my back against the window
"Yes you are... and turn around and fasten yo seat belt before something happens" he says
"No I don't have to do a damn thing" I said rolling my eyes
"Yeah Ight"
He continued driving and after about 20 minutes we pull up to this big fancy mansion
"What does your parents do?" I said with my mouth and eyes wide
"My dads an NBA player and my moms a real estate agent and entrepreneur" he said
"Hmm that explains a lot" I said stepping out the car
We walk into the house and Branay is sitting on the couch.
"Where's the bathroom" I asked
"First door on the right when you go up the stairs" he said pointing
"Okay thanks"
I started walking to the bathroom and as I was walking to the bathroom I heard La'Tron talking and it sounded like he was talking to Rachel so I started to ease drop a little bit.
"I gotta get that bitch" I heard Rachel whisper
