A Unexpected Visit

On a partly cloudy early morning, Amelia was walking in the desert lost in thought about school, MECH and the Cybertronian war. She feels like she can't breathe and the world is crushing down on her, 'How am I going to stop MECH and at the same time stop the Decepticons?' Amelia mentally wonders. Dropping her backpack on the dusty ground, Amelia began climbing a mountain while feeling alone in the world. Climbing to the top, Amelia whipped sweat of her forehead while gazing at the rising sun feeling its warmth. Raising her arms up she felt for the moment free from the stress and frustration closing her eyes she stays their a little while longer. A roar of an jet's engine alerted Amelia and the sound of metal transforming, snapping her eyes open Amelia quickly turned around to see Soundwave standing their watching her. A cool breeze blew through her short hair as both Cybertronian and human stared at each other both not making a sound until Amelia broke the silence, "Did Megatron order you to terminate me or capture me?" Amelia questioned.

"No," Soundwave answered with her voice recorded and a large red X on his visor. He made a question mark on his visor wondering why Amelia was out her alone and not with anybody.

"You wondering why I'm out her alone," a single nod was her answer for getting it correct from the silent Decepticon, "Maybe because I feel....stressed and frustrated about things that I can't seem to fix or stop!" Amelia glared out into the distance, "Sometimes I wonder if I can change things for the better or what my future will be, but I have been searching for my father in hopes of stopping him and his organization while stopping this STUPID war between Decepticons and Autobots but I can't I'm just a teenage human girl who is way over her head," she ranted, tears rolled down her cheeks until she felt a cool metal gently brush away her tears.

Soundwave used his finger to wipe away her tears, "Where - did - your - spirit - go - ?" he asked with different recordings.

"I may seem strong and fearless all the time but I'm still a teenage girl with fears not some war hero or soldier. Sometimes I have nightmares about Starscream or Megatron torturing me for information," she told him, touching the scar on her face from Starscream, "One of my friend's mom was kidnapped by my dad's organization and I wasn't strong enough to stop him then. How could I possible stop an entire organization when I couldn't defeat my own father?! I feel like I'm failing everyone with the choices I make! Why am I so powerless?"

Blinking back the tears, she continues to watch the horizon than look at the Decepticon who can inform his master of her weakness and destroy her. She felt herself being gently picked up by Soundwave as she assumed he was taking her to Megatron but he just held her in his hand until Amelia turned to look at the silent Decepticon. "You - are - strong - in - your own - way. - Never - forget - that - you - have - a - brave - heart - but - war - between - us - can - not - be - stopped," he told her patting her head like he did back on the Decepticon warship.

A new flicker of hope and determination burned inside Amelia's heart as she glared seriously to the silent Decepticon, "No I don't believe that, you, Knockout, Breakdown and few Decepticons cared about me a fleshy human. I can stop this war and bring peace no matter what, you and the others can help me....... please Soundwave help me stop this war," Amelia pleaded staring at him with unwavering eyes. Soundwave regrettably shook his head no and he felt terrible because he saw her eyes filled with hurt but she gave him a fake cheery smile, "I understand," Amelia really understood where his loyalties lie with Megatron and not her, "I really hope we can still be friends once all of this is over." Soundwave really does hope that Amelia can stop this war and bring peace for everyone because he feels and knows Amelia can do great things in the future if she puts her mind to it. Setting Amelia down Soundwave transformed and left Amelia who waved goodbye to him with a sad smile, "At least I tried to convince you. But I will not give so easily next time, my first step for ending this war is to stop my father first before I can change Decepticons," Amelia vowed watching Soundwave fly away as she turned to the sun as it was high indicating it was around nine in the morning, 'I promise that I will try harder than before and get stronger no matter what.'
