The groundbridge opened, Arcee, Bulkhead and Ratchet entered the vortex to retrieve Optimus. Bumblebee got the call to reopen to groundbridge as he did, both Ratchet and Bulkhead were supporting Optimus, "Easy, Optimus. From the looks of things, you've been exposed to a massive amount of Dark Energon," Ratchet informed.

"I am not the only one," Optimus told as both Amelia and Raf were being checked on by June.

Bulkhead helped Optimus sit down as Optimus smiled in relief that both Amelia and Raf survived the Dark Energon, "Hey," they greeted as Amelia raised her hand in greeting.

"They're lucky to be alive," June told, glaring at the Autobot leader who was crestfallen.

"Megatron found more of the dark stuff?" Jack asked as he and Miko walked down the stairs.

"A volcano full," Arcee answered.

"The question is, 'How?'" Bulkhead told.

"No. The question is, 'What?'" Ratchet corrected, "As in, 'What in the world is the blood of Unicron doing here on Earth?'"

"The 'cons killed a unicorn?" Miko asked as she saw the Autobots confused expressions, "White horse with a horn on its head? Prances around all sparkly?"

"Unicron-- An ancient evil whose fossilized blood comprises the matter which we call Dark Energon, as legend would have it," Ratchet explained.

"So, you're saying this Unicron is some kind of boogeyman?" June questioned.

"'Boogeyman?'" Ratchet muttered, confused.

"Make-believe creepy guy who hides in your closet," Miko explained.

"No, Nurse Darby," Ratchet denied, "Unicron is very real. Was. That is, well, I do believe he once existed. I just don't subscribe to the theory that his primordial life force is the substance which..........harmed Raf and Amelia."

"I've heard enough. Jack, Please, help me get these two into the car," June ordered as she rolled Raf toward her car.

"They're not safe outside our supervision," Bumblebee beeped.

"Mom, I thought they were doing better," Jack told.

"They need to be examined by real doctors, and their family needs to know what's happened," June told, "Their real family."

Amelia got off the gurney but she had to lean against the wall for support because her body was slowly regaining its strength, "June, my mother is out hunting down my father and his organization of lunatics who are targeting Cybertroians," Amelia informed, 'My sister is traveling with her babysitter, Hana who is visiting her family. Right now I belong here, with them where they can protect me and Raf."

"Amelia's right, mom, Raf's family can't protect him, not like they can," Jack explained.

"June, it deeply grieves me that I have failed," Optimus told as he slowly stood up, "But I will do everything in my power to ensure that no harm comes to our human friends....... Or any human ever again."

"Optimus, they're children. They do not belong in your world," June told, " They should be worrying about grades, prom dates, pimples. Not their own survival!"

"Mom, Dark Energon is pouring out of the Earth," Jack tried to reason with his mother, "It doesn't do that. This could be about everyone's survival, not just ours."

"You're coming with me, all four of you, and they will not be coming back."

"I understand," Optimus understood where June was coming from.
