"Stella, this is Daisy my uhh girlfriend." Matt sounded like he was questioning the fact that she was apparently his girlfriend in the first place and I can't blame him, she was stunning.
Not to dis him but wow, what the hell was she doing with him?
"Hi, I'm Daisy but I guess you already know that because someone thinks I'm incapable of introducing myself." She laughed glaring at Matt as I shook her hand.
"Sorry that way a bit formal, I'm Stella but I guess you knew that because yeah Matt has problems with introducing people." I laughed, raising my hand for a high-five.
"Cool." Daisy winked.
"I love you already." Daisy laughed at my comment, nodding. "How bout we ditch Matt and get out of here?" I whispered, already pulling her along behind me.
"Wait, guys!" Matt yelled.
"RUN!" Daisy yelled, a perfect addition to my plan.
"I don't have a ride home, come on!" Matt tried to catch up but we were already too far in front of him.
"Walk, you need some exercise anyway!" Daisy and I yelled at the same time, linking arms.
As soon as we got to my car, we pulled the doors open. (I bet they would've fallen off if we pulled any harder cause we totally have super powers). Slamming them behind us, I stuck the key in the ignition and pulled out.
"What is Matt doing?!" I stared at him, he sat on the ground staring at us as we pulled away.
"Oh, he's not getting any pity from me." Daisy laughed.
"Maybe 6 miles is a lot for him to walk, I should feel bad but I don't."
"Couldn't agree more."
"Where have you been all my life?"
"Hell." That's literally the most serious I think I've been in the past few weeks.
"I bet that's why your so hot." She winked at me grinning.
"Lame." I sing-songed. "But thanks."
"Like you could do better." She rolled her eyes playfully and that's why I think she's amazing. Daisy (in the short time I've known her is undoubtedly the coolest person I've met) and she's adorable so why wouldn't I love her? (in a friend way) "Hey, can we listen to music?"
"Sure." I didn't really care but that's one subject that makes me strangely uncomfortable because people usually aren't as cool as me, note sarcasm, and like music I can't stand which makes for some awkward situations.
Daisy started humming along before shrieking, breaking me out of my thoughts because unfortunately I know this song.
I groaned.
"OH MY GOD IT'S YOUR SONG YAY!" She squealed. "Your one of my favorite artists but Matt made me promise to not freak out but I couldn't hold it in much longer." She laughed, gasping for breath.
"Well, you'll love my new album, me and Alex- crap." I covered my hands with my mouth. That wasn't something I was supposed to say, oops, but that can be our little secret.
"NEW ALBUM, Alex Turner?!!" And here we go, I think that I might just steal Matt's girlfriend for forever.
