I was waiting to hear my phone ring but it never did.  That could be because Scott confiscated it and I obviously wasn't going to stick around to find it when running for my life.  I'm sure they've noticed I'm gone by now, and I'm not exactly sure what they're going to do.  Or do when I get back.  I know I'm not lucky enough for them not to notice.  They had to of heard the car.

I pulled into Noah's driveway, still seeing his car in the driveway.  There were no other cars but his and his parent's.  I do realize what I'm doing is completely idiotic in ways I can't explain.  Noah is more than what people think he is to me and that drives me crazy.  No one will understand.  I barely understand it.  It's more of a feeling.  Like a rush of heat through my body.  Tingles shooting down my arms and legs.  It's mental and physical.

I walked up the sidewalk, stopping to pick up a faux rock in the flower bed.  The bottom hatch of the plastic rock opened and my key dropped in my hand.  This key came in handy when Noah and I had to sneak around.  If only that was the reason for this trip.  Unfortunately I knew this was going to end badly, unlike the late nights I've spent here.

I placed the key in the lock, turning it slowly in the hopes it won't echo through the bold hallways.  I pushed the door opened and was enveloped in the dark as I closed it behind me.  I walked up the stairs, seeing a faint light coming from Noah's closed door as I made the landing.  I breathed a sigh of relief knowing he was still here.  But my stomach twisted in knots when I remembered why I was here.  He doesn't even want to see me.  If he knew me, he would have known I would come here.

I felt my heart racing faster and faster as I approached the cracked door.  I prepared myself to maybe not see Noah, or something much worse.  But neither of those happened.  Noah was in his room, sitting on his bed hunched over with his hands in his hair.  "Alex, I told you I'm fine—" His words were cut short when he lifted his head and realized who it actually was.  He shot up to his feet, his face growing cold.  "What the hell are you doing here?"

"What do you think I'm doing here, Noah?" I shot, taking a step closer to him.

"You need to leave.  Now." He grounded as he moved closer to me.

I shook my head, not moving an inch.  "I thought you were dead." I choked on the last part. "You were gone when I got help—"

"I told you I don't need your help.  Get out of here, Willow."

"Why are you acting like this?  What's going on with you?"

He placed his hands of my shoulders and started walking me backwards.  "You have ten seconds to leave—"

"Or what?"  I placed my hands flat against his chest and gave him a forceful shove.  "There's no way Scott would have just let you go."

"He's my brother.  He's coming with me."

It was a giant slap in the face.  "And let me guess...this was his idea?"

His eyes wondered away from mine.  Something I knew he did when he was about to lie.  "It was my idea.  Why is that so surprising?"

"Do I need to remind you what happened, Noah?  Do you not remember what he did—"

His eyes found mine again, "It's the medication." He muttered.

"It's the medication..." I repeated in a mocking tone.  "What did he do to you?"
