The Castle in the Sky

Below the castle in the sky resides
a regal prince who asks why can't he spot
The life beneath, a world without the prides
of time, for life is here and death is not.

Yet still without the death, the life is dull
Why live without regrets when past will lend
you on to past the death; mem'ries live full
Anew when life has not yet reached an end

Then wonders he the point of all, and he
soon thinks about the fall, for as he fights
He takes a bite of what he might decree
Then had he lost the life, he gained his rights

And when our prince recalls his past, invades
a weary heart on out for fondness fades
