Ashanna Stark's panicked breaths continued long after she opened her eyes.

Her fingers clenched the blankets thrown over her body. She hugged the fabric to her heart as her chest heaved.

Her eyes surveyed every inch of the room. The same room she was in before, except for the bathtub.
A plain stone bedroom chamber, with a wooden table set and a small fireplace.

Simple but charming.

Bright orange and yellow embers danced across the walls, keeping the shadows away.
And yet, even with the brutal, roaring fire mere metres from her. Ashanna was unable to shake that eerie, cold feeling.

"You're awake?" A hesitant voice asked. Ashanna couldn't help but flinch.

Ashanna watched as Mila Fair approached her. The genuine concern laced in her eyes, made her heart swell.

"How long was I gone?" Ashanna asked quietly, as the image of Winterfell's burning walls tainted her mind.

"Two days. Your brother and mother are taking turns sitting by your bedside. They've both been dragged to a formal meeting a disagreement among the noble lords it appears." Mila sighed with a dismissive wave of her pale, slender hand.

"..who found me?" Ashanna asked softly. She'd be forever in debt to the person that discovered her drowning as she beheld a vision.

"I did. I was walking to your room when I heard muffled screams and splashing. I called for help and took you out of the bath."

"You saved my life." Ashanna whispered in a grateful tone.

"I'm sure if our roles were reversed, you would've saved me." Mila said brightly as a smile graced her lips.
Ashanna nodded.

"Without hesitation." Ashanna beamed at her.

"Am I interrupting something?" Another voice called to them from the door way. Cedric Fair leaned against the doorway, his eyes fixed solely on Ashanna's tired and taunt face.

"I'm having a conversation with my closest companion. While you should be training with father." Mila said as she motioned for him to leave the room. Cedric merely dusted a speck of dirt off his new blue tunic.

"She was my companion before she was yours. I think I have a right to take a break to visit her." Cedric said as he took a step into the room. Mila's eyebrows drew into a fierce line.

"Perhaps I'm not being plain. Get out."

"You couldn't be more wrong. You're always plain and boring. I think our majesty needs some entertaining, light hearted people in her company." Cedric said as he turned to Ashanna for confirmation.

"I enjoy both of your company."

Mila clapped her hands as the smug smile was wiped from her brother's face.

"It's humorous how you thought she'd agree with you."

Cedric threw a glare towards his sister as he retrieved a larger wooden chair from the table set.

"Do you want me to ask for your brother or mother?" Mila asked sweetly. Ashanna shook her head.

"Not yet.. I need to find out what to say to them.. How to explain the vision.." Ashanna trailed off.

"What did you see?" Cedric pressed lightly as he leaned towards her.

Ashanna's throat bobbed with distaste at the thought of reliving those images. She took a calming breath nonetheless.

And she told them.
Everything.
From the smallest detail to the possible future that would unfold.

She didn't cry though, not one tear.
She was determine to beat the darkness that was consuming her family.

She was done with feeling helpless.
Done with the pain,
Done with the reminder of her failure,
Done with the destruction.

No more.
