A/n- I'm just going to apologise to all of you. My internet wasn't working for the last few days so that's why I couldn't update. But here it is! Enjoy!

"Milady I must insist." The father said exasperatedly, upon hearing her say she was going to continue her journey.
Ashanna shook her head as she regarded the inn. They wanted her to rest, eat and sleep. How could she do that when her mother was so close.
She continued her journey with the father and son as far as the Inn at the crossroads. The last time Ashanna was here.. her father was alive.

"The Lannisters have eyes everywhere. I don't want to put your lives at risk." Ashanna said as she shot a weary glance at the inn.

"Our lives, our choice." The son countered. His father winced at his son's lack of courtesy. Ashanna didn't mind she nodded to the son in agreement. It was their choice.

"Cedric! Don't you dare to speak to a lady in.-" he began to scold his son but Ashanna swiftly cut across him.

"Please, call me Ashanna." She insisted as she began to turn her head towards the road that led to Riverrun. She turned back to the father and son.

"I thank you both for your kindness. Truly I'm forever grateful.. but I'd prefer to continue my journey and get to my family.. without anymore deaths occurring because of me." Ashanna explained politely.

"I'm afraid we cannot permit a young maid  like yourself to be wandering the country. So we'll be accompanying you to Riverrun and that's the end of it." Cedric said with an amused grin on his face. His father shook his head again at his son's words.

Despite knowing that it was a horrible idea. Ashanna's growling stomach forced her to follow the pair into the inn.

Nobody looked up when they entered..
Nobody cared..
They were just like everyone else.
Ashanna liked it.

She held her breath as she sat into a booth beside Cedric, her eyes never leaving her nervously joined hands.
In the distance she heard the father order three broths and rolls of bread.

"Easy Ash, if you keep this anxious act up folks'll think your up to all sorts." Cedric whispered under his breath. Ashanna threw him a look at the pet name but said nothing.

When the bowl of broth and the plate or bread was laid before her, Ashanna spared no time to thank the gods. She dug into her food, dipping the roll into her broth before stuffing it into her mouth.

"How ladylike." Cedric said as he poured a generous amount of ale into a goblet for her. She took it in her grasp as soon as it was left in front of her.

"Manners Cedric, Lady Ashanna has deserved the right to enjoy her meal." The father said before taking another sip of his broth. Cedric muttered an apology before digging into his own broth.

"You'll have to forgive me, milady. The names Larson, Cedric of course has already made himself known." Larson says while gesturing to his son. Cedric tilts his goblet towards Ashanna at the mention of his name.

She was still weary of them.. but Ashanna found a sense of comfort with her temporary comrades. After everything she had gone through she was glad that there was still good people out there. People that just wanted to help and not gain power for themselves.

Ashanna didn't know the father and son's motives but she intended to find out.
