Because I could
"Why did you do it? Can you at least tell me this, why did you kill him?" I whispered calmly
She shrugged.
"Because I could."
A bubble of anger popped inside of me.
"Because you could?" I repeated her words
"That's what I said" she answered unconcerned.
"You killed my father. Because. You. Could?" I said quietly.
She nodded grinning.
"And you couldn't stop me" she laughed.
And I cracked.
"YOU KILLED HIM" I screamed shoving her against the wall.
"YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND, because you could!?" I said through clenched teeth.
"Gee, isn't it sad that the only friend you had was that sickening excuse of a human being?" She said laughing.
I'll take that as an invitation to kill her. But I'm not going to.
I'm going to ruin her life. Slowly. And painfully.I released her walking away.
"Well then" she said
"I'm feeling really stabby right now, get lost!" I reply.
"You coward" she laughs.
I turn to her giving her a small smile.
"I decided I didn't need to kill someone who his already brain dead" I shrugged walking through the front door.
"Bye mother" I said before slamming the door behind me.
