Chapter 8- and we're live

Dianne POV
I was sat in my dressing room scrolling through fan edits of me and Joe passing time until I had to be in hair and makeup when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it expecting to see Chloe or Amy but instead I saw no-one until I looked down and saw a beautiful bouquet of red roses placed on the floor outside my dressing room with a card. I quickly brought the inside and opened the card which read Dianne, regardless of tonight's result I just wanted to say thank you for everything I'm having the time of my life and it's all because of you. The passion you have for dance is what inspires me each week and I see this is what you truly love to do. Thank you for sharing your passion with me and teaching me to love it too. You look the most beautiful on the dance floor and your happiness is everything to me. I can't wait to dance the samba with you.

I was speechless had I just read that correctly did it say he loved me. Without even thinking, card still in hand I ran out of my dressing room and straight to Joe's without even knocking I ran straight in Engulfing him in the biggest hug, "what's this for" Joe joked I just love you so much I said I'm so pleased I met you. Dancing with you is so special and I'm so happy you've fallen in love with it just like me.
Joe POV
I knew I had to surprise Dianne since this week had been especially stressful and every weeks she just goes above and beyond to make sure our dances are the best they can possibly be she made me so happy.
Before I knew it the 5 minute warning was being called and we stood hand in hand at the top of the stairs waiting to be announced. Just before it was our turn to walk out I felt Dianne gently squeeze my hand and whisper "I am so unbelievably proud of you Joe, whatever happens tonight just know you've done me so proud and you could not have done any more" I lump grew in my throat keep it together sugg I thought. I kissed her on the cheek and blinked away my tears just as our names were called.
Dianne POV
Me and Joe were dancing first this week and I know he was panicking since this was not his strongest dance and it was the week before Blackpool but I knew everything would be fine, he was an amazing dancer and the work he's been putting in could be seen by everyone. Joe danced the Samba perfectly, I even let my hand graze over his face during our dance however been careful it wasn't to obvious since we already had enough rumours about us without adding fuel to the fire. We joined Claudia and Tess for the judges scores. My heart quicken as I heard the words " and the scores are in" A total of 32 !!! I could not be happier it was by no means our highest score but considering we didn't even have a dance until Thursday night it was more than I could ever have hoped for.
Joe POV
The results show had finally been filmed and we were done for the day, I pulled Dianne into my dressing room and closed the blinds since there was press everywhere these days. "What's this all about?" Dianne questioned. Before she could even finish what she was saying I threw my lips towards hers. "I'm just so glad we can dance another week." I gushed, I'm just not ready to give it up yet. " I've ordered us an Uber back to mine since it's getting a bit late and I wouldn't want you to have to get in a cab on your own, but if you've got other plans that's fine, I don't know if the girls wanted you to do something with them." I said " no no that's absolutely fine amy mentioned something about going out but I think she's more keen to get home to Ben really, I think she just felt bad I was going home alone. But obviously that's not the case, I would love to come back with you." There was a moment of silence before I broke it saying " you know Di I've been thinking about this a lot and it's becoming harder and harder to hide our relationship, your a big part of my life now and if you think the same I think we should start to tell people. Maybe not the public yet and our friends, family and obviously our strictly family." "Joe I'm so glad you finally said something I've been dying to tell the girls for ages you know me can't keep my mouth shut. I think we should just casually tell them as we see them you know, make a bit of a prank of it. " oh di you really know the way to my heart." I joked. " let's get home,"
A/N forgot the mention there's a little bit of a time jump from my last chapter to this one I just thought it was getting a bit boring but don't worry I will continue it after the strictly parts have ended. Hope everyone's weekend has been good sorry it's been a while x
