Chapter 12- the gang back together

Time skip to life after strictly
Joe POV-
I couldn't believe the competition was over it was like a chapter of my life had ended and I had a dance shaped whole in my heart, however I knew with Dianne by my side I would of course continue dancing.

Since me and Di had been absolutely flat out since September we decided to take a much needed break and visit the treehouses with baby Kermit ( our new dog) we also decided we'd invite Ashley and Giovanni and Stacey and Kevin to get the gang back together again. We pulled up to the tree house the others outside already waiting for us. I looked over to Dianne who had Kermit snuggled into her on her knee. This girl meant more to me than she'd ever know she was perfect in my eyes and I couldn't believe I'd got so lucky to call her my girlfriend.

Dianne POV-
I looked over at joe who looked so deep in trance, "earth to joe, you okay there" I joked.
"Sorry Di I just couldn't help looking at you and kerm, your perfect and I'm so lucky to have you in my life I love you so so much" he gushed.
"Oh joe I love you endlessly more than you will ever know, now let's get out the others are probably wondering what on earth we're doing"
This was a big moment for us as we hadn't announced we'd got Kermit to anyone yet as we wanted to make sure everything was okay and she settled in well. I climbed out the car with her in my arms dressed in a red harness and matching red lead as after she was the daughter of Dianne Buswell. As I emerged from the car door I saw everyone's face drop, "and who is this?" They all exclaimed.
"This is baby Kermit, mines and joe's dog"
After she received the most strokes she's probably had in her whole life we decided to head into the treehouse. It was so beautiful I couldn't believe my eyes and I was so excited to spend this time with my strictly family we had all grown so close in the competition and they could all really relate to us as they also found love on the show.

We all settled down in the living room out the fire on and ordered room service. It was the most unreal food and we made a toast to strictly. It really was the most unreal show and I felt so lucky to be able to call it my job. Who would have thought it would have brought me all of these blessings I had never been happier.
