Chapter 10- road trip

Joe POV
It was Saturday night and me and Di had just finished recording the results show, I wiped my makeup off and wandered down to Dianne's dressing room. I opened the door and walked in deciding we were past the point where we needed to knock now which earned a rather big gasp from Dianne "omg Joe it's just you, you scared me" she laughed in her strong Australian accent. I just wondered if you had plans tonight" I asked her "no why I just figured me and you would do something I always save my Sunday's for us since I know how crazy it can get for both of us during the week."she smiled "no that's absolutely fine babe I told Zoe and Alfie I'd stay at theirs tonight weeks ago before everything happened between us and I just wondered if you wanted to come?" "No but Joe we haven't told them about us they might think it's a bit strange me just turning up like that" she replied suddenly seeming panicked "Di Di calm down it's absolutely fine ever since Zoe came to see our waltz she's been begging me to take you out and constantly tells me what a cute couple we would make they absolutely love you and see how much of a good match we are just like I do." I sweetly smiled. "I'll text her from the car if it makes you feel better."
Dianne POV
After quickly stopping at Joe's and picking some stuff up for the weekend we were finally on the road. I was shattered, I put my head back against the headrest and closed my eyes. Before I knew it I was woken my a peck on the lips from a very tired Joseph who was taking our case you the car. Suddenly my nerves over came me. Even though I had already met both Zoe and Alfie, this time since I was coming as Joe's girlfriend and not just his dance partner there seemed to me more riding on it. Zoe came to the door and seemed shocked when she saw me. " Joe you didn't tell me Dianne was coming how nice to see you again I'll just tell Alfie to set up the other spare room." I didn't want to say anything as I didn't know what Joe wanted to do so I just thanked her and stepped inside. I stood in the hallway and took off my shoes, as I was doing this I heard Zoe questioning Joe "is there a particular reason you've brought Dianne with you broseph anything you want to tell me." "Nothing much really just the fact that she's now my girlfriend and has been for about 5 weeks" he casually said which earned and big scream for Zoe and her shouting to Alfie to stop setting up another room. I emerged form behind joe cheeks as red as my hair and gave Zoe a hug " guess we'll be seeming a lot more of you then" she laughed. After meeting Nala I decided it was simply not acceptable for me and Joe to live any longer without a dog and we just simply needed to get one to which joe was not so keen. What a shocker. After catching up with Zoe and Alfie for a while we divided it was probably time to head to bad since we had a long day ahead of us and it was getting late. I walked up the fist flight of stairs behind Joe before he quickly slipped behind me as we walked up the second flight to the top of the house "God Joe this would be a good warm up before training" I laughed as I turned round. I couldn't help but notice Joe seemed so consumed by his thoughts like he was fixating on something "everything okay" I questioned " more than okay, I just wanted to say Dianne I am absolutely in awe of you the way you conduct yourself in ever possible situation you could be thrown in is amazing, you are by far the most beautiful both inside and out girl I have ever met. I love you Dianne Buswell. I always have and I always will you have a slice of my heart now and forever." Joe sweetly said. " Joe I love you so much I never have a dull moment with you around you will always be my love now and forever." I gushed. With that he took my hand and lead my up the last few stairs before pressing his lips gently against mine and whispering "maybe a dog would be so bad after all"
