Chapter 11-the biggest of surprises

Joe POV
It had been such a crazy week between training, my meetings and Dianne's meetings for here come the girls, I felt like I'd barely seen Dianne, even though we spend hours a day together when we're in training it's just not the same the second we step through the studio doers we are simply dance partners again and Dianne has been very clear about that. This is her job after all. But I had a big surprise for Dianne, a couple of weeks ago now we went down to see Zoe and Alfie in Brighton and Dianne met Nala and ever since she's been non stop going on about how we need a dog and she'd be such a good dog mum. At first I was dead against it since we both lead such busy lives and it just seemed unfair to leave a dog on its own all day and we hadn't even moved in together. That's when this plan all started to fall into place. Byron announced that him and Emily had found a place to buy and that he was going to move out. This was the perfect time I thought, the competition was coming to an end with only a few more weeks left so we would no longer be out the house all day everyday, Byron was moving out so Dianne could move in and while Dianne was on tour I could have my meetings at home so that dog didn't need to be left. This was perfect.

All that was left was to find a dog. After a long long search I found the perfect one, a french bulldog which was available to pick up the same day Byron was moving out.
Time skip to picking up the dog
I took the 30 minute drive to where our new baby was picked her up and drove her to her new home. Dianne was going to be back from her meeting in 25 minutes the perfect about of time for me to set up. I placed a note on the outside of the door which read 'Dianne, do not knock, you are no longer considered a guest please just walk in and go to the living room' I then placed a key ring on the centre of the coffee table which had the letters J and D attached and a note which read 'walk to the kitchen' and on the island I placed a dog tag with Dianne's phone number but my address on, with a note saying, 'now finally walk to the bedroom, I have a surprise for you' Where I will be stood in the middle of the room holding our new princess with a house key attached to her collar.
I heard the door open and I rather confused Dianne wander to the living room as the notes read. I stood on the landing and watched her as she opened each note and took each gift with the biggest smile on her Face I'd ever seen. I saw her face like up as she saw the dog tag and heard her whisper "on way has he done this." I quickly ran to the bedroom and took my place as I saw her getting ready to come upstairs.

I saw a bright read blur walking towards me until it stopped, stumbled backwards and began to cry tears of happiness. "Joe no Joe you can't have done this no way but what are we going to do who is she going to live with" Dianne screamed in disbelief. Well it's funny you should say that, I laughed come here and take hold of your dog I said. Now look at her collar I instructed her. "I house key, I don't understand" Dianne said clearly confused. Well Dianne we're parents now and we need to think what's best for our princess so that why I wanted to ask you would you like to move in with me and our new baby? "Oh Joe nothing would make me happier" Dianne exclaimed.
